I had no idea that every girl who rambles about filmy stuff at the age of 19 instantly jumps to thinking of marriage as soon as she falls in love.....thanks for enlightening me though :-)

No one is hating on Gunjan... Everyone is just presenting their views and how we feel her character has become sort of lame..

Okay here's my thoughts on this.

Gunjan Cares Only About Samrat
I dont agree with that. Its true that lately she has only been thinking about Samrat but thats because of the whole Sheena track and then there was the Jail track. Plus shes stuck in Unrequited Love and thats quite depressing in itself. The person you love doesnt even know you exist. Its actually a horrible situation to be in because that person will never love you back and it hurts but its worse for Gunjan cause Samrat is her Best Friend and hes always around her so she cant even get over him. So when Samrat is in a horrible situation obviously shes upset and only worried about him.

To me, my sister is on the top of my list over anyone else. When my sister talks to me... I am not constantly thinking of the guy who I have a crush on or who I like... I will try to listen to her and then maybe I will talk about what is on my mind. Not just constantly sing my dukhda about how the guy doesn't love me back.

@bold- My only question to you is.. how come she has never worried about her sister in a similar manner? Nupur places Gunjan above Mayank too.. but does Gunjan do the same.. the answer is a BIG FAT NO!

Gunjan Doesnt Care About Nupur
Gunjan has just had an interlude with the love of her life. And he was acting all weird. Thats gonna cause some concern isnt it? And ever since the Jail track Samrat has been acting weird and awkward with her. How is that not worrying? So yes she wasnt listening to Nupur but is it cause shes self centred ? No its not. Gunjan is a worrier. She worries over the smallest thing and her whole world revolves around it. We all know Gunjan has always been like that. So I didnt see that as Gunjan being self centred just being a Worrier like she usually is.

Umm.... and what about when Nupur had that fight with Mayank during the play... Did she go find out how Nupur was doing or where she was?? Was she there when Nupur was delivering the MOST important scene in her life?? Where was Nupur's sister?? Oh yeah she was busy crying over losing Samrat's friendship.. That's right.. Now she is in love with Samrat but what was going on at that time?? Gunjan has NEVER cared about Nupur.. atleast I don't ever remember Gunjan going "Di... tum theek toh hona.."

@bold- Do you have better reason besides the fact that she was thinking of Samrat to justify WHY she wasn't listening to Nupur??

Gunjans Character Has Been ANNIHILATED
Uh. Okay. No it hasnt. Characters develop and change according to the sitaution. Gunjan cannot stay Happy Fun Gunjan when Samrat is in Jail or with SheeeeNah or stuck in Unrequited Love or when Samrat suddenly starts acting strangely with her.
People please. Gunjan is in her Depressing stage. She WILL get out of it! But not until the track changes. The track is changing. It wont happen overnight. Patience is a virtue people. You cant skip a chapter because it isnt to your taste. Thats just stupid.
Characters change. If they didnt we would have one dimensional crap. Please dont make me elaborate further on this. If I do I'll be typing up a lecture on Characters and the Importance of their Development throughout a Story.

Gunjan has a one dimensional character right now.. I don't see her have any sort of feelings except sadness.. She doesn't even have feeligns of love really. She is always crying.. to me someone with just one expression like that who has no shades to her character is one dimensional.

Gunjan is SUCH an amazing character... personally, I couldn't really relate to her in depth, but I know that a lot of people could. She was the "girl next door" someone we all could somewhat understand.

She was so real. Her innosence, her introvert-ness (is that a word?) and the way she was so into her school/college life.

But I dont think she ever really... what's the word I'm looking for? 🤔 She did care, but she never really talked about it... and I don't think that's realistic at all- but then again, this is MJHT we're talking about.

But now? She doesn't even show any concern. It's ALWAYS Samrat. ALWAYS him.

Don't even get me started on Nupur. She was my FAVOURITE character, but now, I just wanna bang my head when I watch her.

Gunjan doesnt talk much. She never has. Its just part of her personality. Its because shes an introvert that she doesnt talk so much. She is a little insecure about herself and not so confident thats why she never wants to discuss anything. But the one person she DOES discuss things with is Nupur. In a way I think Nupur is Gunjans BestFriend. Just because you dont talk doesnt mean you cant show that you care. My younger sister is REALLY quiet. When we were little if anyone spoke to her I would answer for her. So much that people started calling me her Interpretor😊 I just knew what she wanted. Gunjan is like that. Nupur knows whats worrying her without Gunjan saying anything and Nupur can be comforted by Gunjan without either of them talking. Like that episode where Nupur comes home from the College Competition thing and they both looked at each other and just hugged. And the phone call they shared when Nupur was away. And when Gunjan told Samrat how much she was missing Nupur before Holi.
Its only ALWAYS Samrat now because when Gunjan starts worrying about something she focuses on it to the exclusion of all else. Thats just part of her nature. Nupur knows that.

As for Nupur shes still the same caring sister and still the same crazy Nupurshes always been.

Oh sorry I thought it was for me 😊 And Nupurs character isnt completely exaggerated you know. I have a friend like that. Shes 24.

i want the old happy gunjan back....ever since shes fallen in love all she does is cry..... im not comparing her to nupur b/c they are soo diff.....but where the sweet shy gunjan??

@thornewood9 - But babes, you need to talk once in a while no? I have a little sister, and tbh, we do NOT get along at all, but we talk all the time! She needs to know what's going on in my life, and vice versa.
