Mayank was capable of invoking in me a typical highschool kind of butterflies in the stomach feeling. Senny, I completely share your sentiments. Her jokes really aren't funny anymore...guess they have ruined her so much as well that this side of hers has also lost charm. She has become one of those dumb girlfriends I see all over the place. Since Mayank is no longer Mayank, 'love' expects the other partner to metamorphose too. After all, Nupur has to keep up with Mayank giving up the reclusive caterpillar skin and becoming a social butterfly. 😆 😆

I MISS these two people, especially THIS Mayank..... just look at them reluctantly separating their hands from each others' hold....THIS is the kinda chemistry that STILL gives me goosebumps.......

I have been screaming myself hoarse by saying the same thing. If love has metamorphosed Mayank into an unremarkable chatty, tacky and cheesy character, Nupur has become incredibly moronic, irrational and mindless. Her comedy seems forced and in league with Uday Bhaiya.

Edit: In short, MayUr have become the side kicks and comic reliefs of MJHT

I completely agree.....Mayank was special....the very reason I started watching this show *sigh*.....I identified with him so much! But now Mayank is gone....long gone.

I loved the point you made about Arjun and Mayank.....Arjun is Arjun but Mayank as a character was what I loved about this show more....I don't really need to see Arjun in Mayank....in the beginning days, he brought him to life really well....also in tracks like the jungle one, the beach, barn scenes and as you pointed out in that rain scene....that look of utter contentment *sigh* It was so sweet.

Mayank was truly different from the run of the mill loverboy types prevalent in most TV shows.....THAT'S what made him so special...but now it's all ruined in a flurry of cutouts, tacky lockets and shaheedi dialogues :((
