I guess it gets hard to keep a show moving and refreshing after almost a year. But still i dont think irreversible damage has been done.. the show is still doing nice.. They just need to make it more youthful, thrilling, fresh and fast paced.

@ Anuji - I wouldn't have felt bad had they started off with Nupur and Mayank as comic reliefs to begin with ... what was extremely disheartening was after setting such high expectations, seeing them reduced to pathetic dialogues, hawt moments, and comedy! Rest of the story - cannot comment much. As much as I liked the SaJan track in favor of MayUr track, it became so stagnant with the over-sacrificing Gunjan, plotting Sheena and the oblivious Sammy that I have nothing else left to say on that front.

I have been an ardent viewer of Miley Jab Hum Tum from day one. I wasn't into Hindi serials but this one caught my attention right after its first week. What pulled me in was the rapport between all of the characters. Nupur and Gunjan's sisterly bond, Samrat and Benji's friendship, Mayank's love for his mother, the friendly competition between CJ/Mayank and even Dia's crush on Samrat to some extent. This serial was not just about romance; it portrayed all kinds of relationships that people experience in college. As for the romances, I found Sajan and Mayur to be as different as chalk and cheese, yet both had the basic essence of teenage love.

I think the serial is no longer the same. Mayur leave a lot to be desired and the pace of Sajan's story is painfully slow. All of the bearable secondary characters have been reduced to mere props. The new entires didn't help; Excel could do without the likes of Ranvijay and Sheena. The characters no longer attend regular classes, do not have to work on assigments and surprisingly didn't have to sit for their exams after the spring semester. Does Excel not have summer breaks? Why did the students and the professors attend college throughout the summer?
I am sorry to say this but MJHT is not the least bit realistic anymore. Let's be practical; would a guy risk drowning in a pool just to please his girlfriend who treated him with disrespect for not liking her childish present? Would a girl (no matter how kind and loving she was) quietly shed a river of tears while someone wrongly accused her of an atrocious thing she didn't do? Wouldn't she be interrupting and screaming at the top of her lungs to defend herself? There are hundreds of similar incidents to point out but I do not want to go into the minute details.
I cannot watch a serial that insults my intelligence. I cannot watch a serial that passes of childish behaviour as romance. I cannot watch a serial where the quiet, studious characters are presumed to be meek. I cannot watch a serial that has become so distasteful even before it completes one season. I am sorry but the writers have lost a faithful viewer.
Please feel free to disagree with me.

the same thing happened to me! the only difference was i started watching hindi shos becuz of DMG but MJHT got my attention the first two weeks and now i can stand not to watch it regurly...

I agree with Courtney, LadyMacbeth and Anu! When this show started, barring the first episode.. I really liked it. Main reason: Mayank Sharma. His character was so amazing. As the show went on, I started liking Nupur and her nautankis. Samrat-Gunjan, Benjy were likeable as well. Samrat-Nupur interaction were really entertaining to say the least! 😆 I was sure the college main parhai ka scene is for a brief time only because I have had experience with a similar show on the same channel. 🤔

The show lost its quality after some months. We beared it. It had its good days and bad days. It got horrible during Mayank's confusion regarding love and went horrendously horrible when he realised he loved her and started his smirking and nishaana sadhenge type dialogues. When MN finally confessed.. the show became super amazing for 3 days and has gone horrendously unbearably horrifyingly horrible since then! 🤢 Be it the dialogue, clothes, track whatever. Aur reality ka tou door door tak ata pata hi nahi hai. And they don't seem to be improving at all. So yeah I'm done with this crap show as well!

P.S: My comment is related to the MN track mostly.

I wasn't a big fan of the show from the beginning Dia, Samrat, Uday all looked fake to me there was no way I could realte to them but Mayank caught my attention 'casue I've never seen a guy like him on T.V before. He wasn't like other guys on T.V who were either total flirt good heart or a total nerd like we saw in other 9793473488080 shows. He was somewhat a mixture of both and that's what I loved about him. He was guy with good looks, cool attitude, serious about studies (I think he's a, oops correction he was the first guy on Indian televsion who was cool and was actually serious about studies), had nice relationship with his mother. So, I decided give it a try (just for mayank LOL) and slowly slowly I started liking Nupur as well she was total bindass girl not like those 50's sharmili type girls on T.V. And I was dying to see how they both will fall in love, but alas things didn't fall in the right place (atleast for me). And now both MN are turned into jokers of the show. I feel really bad for Arjun-Rati. And it hurts to such an amazing talent being wasted. P.S sorry for the essay,LOL.

Well.. this show had the potential and still does.. BUT the creatives do not know how to utilise everyone at the same time.. they need classes in scriptwriting! I have seen so many english shows with loads of characters and Each character is always given equal importance and space always.. there's no need to show excess of just one thing.. Take Samrat-Gunjan and Nupur-Mayank.. where's the need to waste 2 whole episodes on the conversation between Sammy and Sheena with everyone else standing like furniture around them! There's no logic to this at all.. There is only a half an hour episode in a day.. and if they are gonna drag like this.. its only gonna disappoint more and more viewers!! I keep quitting and coming back to this show god knows y.. maybe I still have a lil bit hope left.. once even that goes then its all over..

I wud rather have a SENSIBLE well written half hour episode of MJHT in a week.. than 5 half hr episodes where nuthing really happens..

In the end its about QUALITY not QUANTITY.. why shud any1 watch MJHT if it has simply nothing to offer to its viewers..

@bold: exactly, all this sheena exposing crap could've been shown in one epi and they took almost 3 god damn epis to show that crap. The speed of this show is very sluggish and as we saw in the precap she is still there she still hasn't left.

Earlier, I wasn't really interested in MJHT . . . but then slowly my interest got developed! U're right, the show was way more realistic earlier! 😔

I do agree with the fact that Nupur's childish behavior was not at all a good act plus the way she disrespected Mayank was painful ! But I guess, if a guy truly loves a gal . . . no matter what he has to do for her happiness, he'd do it. 😊😉

SaJan have been boring since day 1 . . . NO OFFENSE INTENTED! 😊 They are a very cute couple yet, I dun like watching there scenes as such! I agree, Gunjan's character is highly unrealistic! How can somebody keep quiet even after her love's girlfriend accused her of pushing her in the poll! INSANE! 😡

SaJan potray cute lobve where as MayUr potray passionate love, the show still has some comedy elements like funny MayUr scenes, Uday and Benjy . . . and of course Sheeeena's face! 😆 And because all the above mentioned thingies . . . I still watch MJHT! 😊

in bold the reason why i still watch n like MJHT
