Nope. Love is not above Friendship because there is no guarantee of love or security while Friendship stands above all, even at 4 am, its the friends that stand by not the boyfriend that stands.

So in SG case, Love and Friendship are with the same person, yet I think SG friendship will always rule above their love which will make their bond more stronger.

A difficult question to answer... with level head thinking it would definitely be friendship... but when u are in love you don't think rationally and try and make unnecessary adjustments which leads to all kinds of problem in the future.

see, u cannot really compare the two becase they are both are an extremely essential part of ur life ... I'd say it differs from situation to situation .... and I believ that both are equally important, neither greater than the other ...

there are certain situations wher u wud hav to decide whom to give priority to.. I kno many ppl in life who are in the worse dilemna coz they hav their one year anniversary wit their sweet-heart on the same day that they plan a long time get-together wit their friends .... so wat do v do at such times ??? u cannot really say that love isnt important then ... and neither is friendship less imporatnt .. but still, u need to choose at such times ... that doesnt not mean the person isnt a gr8 lover or a good friend .... infact, the fact that he cannot choose indicates how much the two aspects are an important part of his life ....

hence I believ it always depends on every situation ... u cannot generalise saying "oh friendship is THE BIGGEST thing in life" or "LOVE is bigger than anything else" ...

in case of SG ... it has always been friendship, an important aspect ... even wen gunjan realised that sam doesnt love her, she NEVER let her friendship wit sam get affected by it .... she never let her love some in the way of their friendship, coz she knew that sam didnt feel the same way abt her ... hence at that time, ofcourse friendship was the most imporatnt thing for her ... coz she cudnt be selfish enuf to ruin her friendship wit sam jus coz she loves him ....

this time, wen she knows that sam and sheeena both like each other and her friendship may come in the way of ruining their relationship ... she feels that its right to back off coz in this situation, their love is the most important thing to her ... their bond, which she believs to be deep is much greater than hers and sam's friendship, is wat she feels ... and ofcourse even tho part of her may not want to sacrifice this friendship, she will do that for his happiness and for letting them give a chance to their relationship ...

sice u hav mentioned the example of KKHH ... leme tell u, anjali sacrificed her love for her friendship wen she knew that rahul and tina love each other ... that shows wat an amazing friend she is ... and then again, even tho tina died ... all she had as her last wish was that the person she loved shud get back together wit his best friend, coz maybe he loved her ... that indicates how strong her love is ...

so neways ... after the long rabling ... my verdict is -

love and frinedship are equal in every possible way .. neither can exist without the other ... and neither can die without the other ...

According to me, friends will always be there for each other. I have always been against people choosing their boyfriend of 2 months over friendship of 12 years. Your friends sometimes know you better than you know yourselves. Plus, in love you make certain adjustments for the other person whereas in friendship you accept each other as you are with flaws and there are no expectations of change whatsoever. And especially if there is any kind of love that makes you break friendships its obviously not true love.

Anyway, I just want to know views on this... Is love greater than friendship?
