mjhtrb20 yeah i think fans should be supportive and provide contructive thoughts as appose to harsh comments. I edited my earlier post and added "constructive" to it, liked that word 😆, it totally sums up everything. I loved ur post 😊, i hope PD feels better.

I would honestly like to take this opportunity to THANK you for this post. It was much needed, and I couldnt have said it better myself. 👏

Firstly, I-F is a place where people from around the world get together to discuss about their favourite show on television. We are always told to freely express OUR opinion, but keep in mind the sentiments of those around us. When I joined I-F, I was so happy to see a networkd of people coming together to discuss their favourite shows, characters, and etc.

When I started watching MJHT, I was even happier to have found such an amazing forum...and have made so many lifelong friends. Then I heard a creative head from MJHT itself COMES here to read and take into consideration OUR suggestions. I was overjoyed! I admit, I don't spend a lot of time on the Creatives Jannat thread, but I do appreciate PD and everything she's doing for us.

We're on the consumer end, meaning that it's US who either make or break this show, but that doesn't mean that we have the right to tell HER- the person who created this show to a certain extent that the storylines/tracks/characters are stupid, or anything...because I've been seeing a LOT of that from the past few months. Yes, we have a right to think whatever we want to, but we can't tell PD and her crew what to do...because it's their baby, like you said. It's their vision....what ever this show is today, it's because of them. I for one have never been upset with this show. Sure, there are ups and downs, but that's life!

I admit that there are a lot of things that could be better and a lot of suggestions and ideas that haven't been incorporated but, does it always have to be about what we want? I am sure that there is a budget, there are limitations as to what the channel does and does not allow and more importantly there are time and space constraints. Not everything is possible all the time.

More importantly, this show was conceived by the creatives. It is their baby. It was their vision and ideas that bought it to us in the first place. I am sure that this being their show, they have specific ideas and visions as to what they want the show to be like. Sure, it is different from what we want but at the end of the day is it not their right to take a show forward the way they want to? I understand that we as an audience should have a say, after all they are catering to us but everyone has to realize that it is not humanly possible to make hundreds of people happy at the same time!

I have read posts where the creatives are being insulted for weak story lines or bad characterization and I find that extremely appalling. What gives anyone else the right to insult someone else's vision or intelligence or decision making process? Imagine yourself in the place of the creatives and think how you would feel if someone crticized you to that extent? If something that you did for a living and worked hard for was criticized...how would you feel? If you dislike the show that much then maybe you should stop watching it but crtiticizing it...is not done.

I am not saying that people should not express their opinions. This is an open forum and everyone has a right to say what they want to but I think that the language and words used could be better.
