in a way.. lemme put it this way and serious talk here for once..

generally, in the community i grew up in..

u didnt have to tie rakhi to some one u just think of As ur brother and brother only..

ppl used to tie rakhi to escape being gossipped with a guy..orr... just think they are too fond of the guy in a non-boyfriend way!

SO while I may tie a guy a rakhi, it deosnt essentially mean that his sister is my sister, his mom is my mom or that I adopt all his relations...

festivities mean different things to differnt ppl..i seriously dnt see anything wrong wid the idea.. but I knw the majority's idea of rakhi is not mine.. 😆

and u knw what... I have never tied a rakhi to guy in the past 5 yrs bcoz i strongly feel that bonds are never formed by threads..

so there u sense our seriousness of our rakhi scene
