Mayank-Nupur ruled: Dec 2nd

I've heard a lot of disappointment about the epi yesterday as well as today but I fail to see why exactly😕😆.....I enjoyed both epis! Given the amount of lapse we had, I toh thought these were good epis to make up for that and move the storyline forward😛.

Anyways, not going into too much regular bhaashan mode, to cut a long story short, the two Mayank-Nupur scenes in today's epi were FANTASTIC👏


SCENE ONE: The classroom scene was just too good!! Arjun-Rati totally blew me away in that scene! My fav. bit was that moment where Nupur bursts out with a 'nahin!" and tears spring into her eyes....My god, is Rati a brilliant actress or what!👏👏.....And Mayank's reaction with that angry/disappointed/half-smile as well....This was a scene that will forever stand out in the melee of other Mayur scenes cuz of the way the tension was built up b/w the characters....Mayank having realized the truth, is disgusted and angry with Nupur (and partly himself as well for being taken for a ride by her)....so he lashes out....using that one weapon always at his disposal....his sarcasm....the taunts...all the stuff he's mastered😛....and poor Nupur realizing that Mayank knows, trying to explain her side of the story finally....but in a way it's too late....Mayank's shut all doors and no longer wants to be vulnerable.....Oh I so loved this scene! This is the MOST depth they've shown to ANY of the characters in this show so far! I am amazed!👏....


SCENE TWO: The telephone convo....this I enjoyed in a totally different way from the scene above😆😆....and that mainly has to do with how Nupur works up from feeling guilty and trying so hard to explain to Mayank but after getting thwarted and having the phone banged down on her, constantly getting more and more into Nautanki mode....just how we all know and love her😆.....The best part HAS to be when M's mom picks up the phone and the fake convo that MaYur have after that just had me🤣.....Mayoo ne kya tune change ki, by god!!🤣🤣....Nupur toh dekhti hi reh gayee...Poor thing got so hopeful in b/w for a sec as well😆....



Mayank is a very stubborn character and he has his set rules that he lives by that he doesn't compromise on easily....For him, it was very uncharacteristic to loosen up the way he did around Nupur....so given the way the truth got revealed, he feels like a fool for having trusted Nupur.....As he himself said, TRUST is very important to him....and that was what Nupur betrayed.

I think what makes everyone feel extra bad for Nupur is Rati's wonderful portrayal of her trying so earnestly to make Mayank understand the circumstances of why she took Gunjan's help for the report.....but if we honestly put ourselves in Mayank's shoes for a moment, how is he going to be able to see that when she lied to him for so long!

Anyways, unlike what Mayank said, this is FICTION/Soapland😆.....So sooner or later use Nups ko maaf karna hi padega😈😆😆......The fun is in the chase, guys!😉




Miscellaneous/random things I liked 12/2 and 12/1:


---The color combination of Nups's suit in the Monday epi....I wish they make her wear brighter and more vibrant colors....that yellow she wore previously really suited her as well.

---Mayank's lemon colored t-shirt in today's epi😍....He looked goooooood!!....upar se angry Mayank...even better! *swoooon*🤣

---Glimpses of Benji in both epis🥳......Mon's epi: Him feeding Uday the sambhar had me🤣 and then later his reactions to Dia showing up! Oh how we missed you Benji!😳😆



Whooops! Bhaashan ended up happening after all😆......As Mayank would say, "Thoda zyada ho gaya"😳😆😆

I felt Mayank's anger was justified as well. Some people value trust in a relationship above everything else. So it was but natural that he was pissed off when he realized that he was being taken for a ride.

I am sure he'll come around as well. Because sometimes simple people like Nupur make the stubborn lose their obstinacy.

Thanks, LadyMcbeth😃....and I totally agree with the bolded part! I totally enjoy the contrast b/w these characters! That is what is so fun about them! Nupur will wear him down in her own imitable fashion, and that's what I'm looking forward to now😉

the telephone scene was good. 😆 i am glad nupur did not lose her edge. she still thinks highly of herself. 😆 but i don't understand why mayank doesnt tell his mom the truth. why is he hiding it? isn't he sorta lyng by not telling her what happened? 😉 mayank's mom was the one who gave him the project clue too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the epi today....brilliant acting by both Arjun an Rati...definitely agree with u nureat01 that this is the best acting to date in this serial.....gotta admit though i wasnt as big a fan of theirs as i was of Gunjan and Samrat, but i feel their story is definitely progressing faster than "SaJan", as they've been dubbed....the jodi of Nupur an Mayank is defintely more entertaining an am really lookin forward to seeing how long Mayu can stay angry at Nups, after all she's a girl who doesn't giv up easily😆....

I think Mayank didn't tell her cuz he didn't want to unnecessarily drag his Mom into the fight childishly....this is b/w Nupur and him and I think he'd like to keep it that way.....it's consistent with Mayank's character cuz even initially he was not so forthcoming about Nups to his Mom other than venting about her irresponsibility....

Also, maybe he doesn't want to unnecessarily create tension b/w his Mom and Nupur over something that's happened b/w him and Nupur.....maybe he's not as 'scary' as everyone here is making him out to be😉😛

LOL....you were a SaJan fan first and now you've converted to a Mayur fan?😆😆😆

Mayank-Nupur have had me hooked since the beginning.....SaJan are nice enough but I've seen their kind of story a million times in other soaps....MaYur pull me in much more....or to put it as you said, they are more entertaining for me😉

They are both amazing characters in their own way....Mayank with his sarcasm and Nups with her desi bindaaspana😆😆....perfect foils for each other!

As for progression....I think both jodis are kinda in the same stage 'lowe' wise....the only difference is that given the dancing situation that MaYur are in, they get more of these 'close' kind of scenes.....otherwise the awkwardness moments have been shown equally among both couples.

I hope the progress is gradual for both the jodis.....no rushed love stories please! It will only mean sooner kabaada for this show!😆

I loved the analysis and like yiou, I too enjoyed both the episodes. From an acting pt of view, both Arjun and Rati did a terrific job in portraying all that anger and regret respectively. But it was so well done, that I felt really sorry for Nupur.. 😭

Mayank's reaction is expected..he had started to get really friendly with Nupur, which is so unlike the nerd usually always into books. So now that he knows the truth, he feels disgusted.. I loved how he changed his tone when Mom came into the room. It was sugar coated sweet..poor Nupur..in the end she gets angry too and decides that "phir usko kabhi phone nahi karungi.. " Ok guys, enough fireworks..I hope things get sorted out quick. For starters, read that letter Mayu boy!

Yep, Arjun and Rati totally stole the show with their acting today! Rati especially! I wanted to give her a standing ovation for that classroom scene!👏

I think Mayoo boy will only read that letter after the Talent Parade only now.....But I wonder how long Nups will bother to be contrite and guilty....not very long I'm guessing...going by her reaction over the phone scene😉😆😆

Ya I know..but I was kinda hoping those pics are misleading and he's not really angry, just maybe a hurried..say he came rushing onto the stage or something.. 😛 They've rehearsed so much for their salsa thing that I was luking fwd to a nice, passionate dance.. While Nupur looks so happy, Mayank's looks cud kill..literally. 😆

Hehe..I too think Nupur wont be guilty guilty for long, but will she try to convince him, any further? At least she wont call him up again..that is for sure!
