Convent bred? I think not

Hi fellow IFers,

I am new but seeing the friendliness of you all, I was encouraged to air my view about something I feel strongly about.

Doesn't it seem to you all that Millee is a little too rude and crude given that she is convent bred? her friend certainyl seems to be more refined!

I know she is a tomboy-ish character but seriously there is a fine difference between being a tomboy and being downright uncouth and rude. I was a tomboy too but i never talked to my elders as 'budhhay' or say thing slike 'ja ja rey bakwaas karta hai'. Infact I am sure I would have gotten smacked if I ever did.

I was convent educated too and the sisters and fathers were always gentle souls like in the show so how come MIllee hasn;t elarnt anythign through observing them?

Even my mum n dad think this and feel annoyed at this untrue portrayel.

But then, Miilee is shown to be a nice person underneath the tough exterior she has built around herself to say to herself that nothing can, or will, bother her.

i agree with you.....she takes panga with eveybody she wants....but that's what i like about her......she's good at it....
