Ishani took a deep breath before she dived into the water , the memories with Ranveer still fresh in her mind . It had been two years, two years and yet she still remembered his eyes pleading her to take a stand for him.

She closed her eyes slowly as every memory came to her in full tilt , everything from the first time she met him to their almost kiss and last but not least his hand parting hers. Her heart pained in agony and she felt herself becoming numb. She wondered if it was really worth it to stick her head above the surface.

"Ishani are you okey? You have been in there for a long time" asked Laila worried as she knocked on the washroom door. Getting no respond got Laila worried for her friend and without a second thought she broke the door and rushed inside going rigid upon seeing the scene , fortunately she reacted on instinct , and rushed to the tub and pulled Ishani up.

She shut the faucet, took warm towel around her and hugged her to her heart.

"I am alive, dont start crying," Ishani said impassively to her worried friend.

Laila sighed, as much as it tempted to scold her , she knew her friend was not in a state of grasping something. Laila mourned over the situation her friend was in , being deprived of the person she loved in the worst way possible.

Ishani " S..so much agony, so many tears and so many unsaid things" she whispered in a broken state. Laila knew how much Ishani loved Ranveer, every night she would wake up to her screaming his name and until daylight she would stay awake crying for not being able to deny the allegation placed on her lover that dreadful day.

Two years ago Ishani had knocked on her door and without any hesitation she welcomed her with open arms, but seeing her friend in this state for two years was more than enough.

This had to end, she had to play her part to not let two lovers part , because she knew they loved each other unconditionally

" Ishani, I will bring Ranveer here in two days , be ready" she said and for the first time in two years did she see a little spark of light in her friends eyes.

It was now her responsibility as her caretaker to not let the spark of light vanish but make it bigger and brighter
