Oh, this is so very realistic of me, then. 😳 Yes, British literature is cool. But I haven't read much of Indian except the RBTagore and other's poems. But I honestly don't prefer Chetan Bhagat. He spoiled Indian authors for me. 😡

Hi poplu!!!
How are you?
Sorry for replying late.
So girl you are trying everything new in your venture I mean. Killing or near killing many new people.
Kishore songs well I am a big fan of him.
Ok he got minor attack well done with the detailing girl given that your age you have done really well.
Parul thoughts that scenario in hospital was really amazing I loved it a lot.
Ranveer finally back but timing is imperfect or should I say a bit late to do amendments.
Media following him from airport was like a superstar moment
Finally that description of her breath getting different with his presence was mesmerising that's really beautiful given that you are writing first time.
Now tick tock started who is going to die
Hospital cant you make them meet somewhere else bechare cannot give even passionate hug there
Thnx for pm
Waiting for the end
First of all, congrats for the brilliant write up to you, and my big apologies for being so late (nearly a month late!). Well, I was just stuck with some stuff. But anyway, you know, I have waited for 5 months for something from you and the wait is absolutely worth it.
Your writing: I have nothing apart from to say it's magnificent! Stunning! And awfully captivating in its first glance. Totally consumes you in its essence.
The title Fire and Ice and Robert Frost! Wow! I love Frost's poetry and you just took one of his poems that I dearly adore. I remember reading this one in school and reading it again and again because I loved it so much (apart from William Wordsworth's Lucy Grey). I was thrilled to read the title itself.
Haha, not blabbering nonsense and coming to the point. I have read the first update and wow! God! I should really take some time to recover- and I'm not exaggerating at all! I was so bowled off by whatever you wrote.
Moving further, Ishani. I love how writers on the forum pen her down and your Ishani is hands down one of my most favorite ones. The angst with which you have written her made my heart go cold for a while. That pain of hers and that love! Oh, she knows how much she loves him. She can't live without him. He's not just someone she married but someone who defines her existence in literal sense. Like her presence in his life defines his existence.
That loneliness that you write about her is so beautifully poignant. One mistake of hers and his endless sufferings and it all too resulted in so much more for them both. He was shot and his heart was broken. BTW, you are keeping this plot similar to the show, right? Ranveer was shot on the KC night and after seeing her pictures with Chirag.
Her agony is fierce! Makes you want to jump into the story and plunge out every misery that troubles her.
Then come the flashbacks of the past when she had fallen in love with the 13-year old Ranveer who had risked his life for a little bird because he couldn't see her in trouble. The fragile bird that struggled to fight the demons that promised the end of her life. Oh, he sees Ishani in her. The girl he loves. He will do anything to protect her.
But Ishani finds it hard to feel the same for the bird. Does it somewhere symbolize she was careless towards her own self? And then she finds that another dove which resembles to Ranveer. Btw, what is it that resembles between the pair of the doves and IshVeer? Is it their essence that they both find so similar and that eternal feeling which connects them or what? Sorry, but I'm kind of confused on this. :/
Ishani is learning classical music and the names that she chooses for the birds and their meanings are so lovely (Good you explained what that meant since I would have asked you otherwise xD).
This little bit of Kailash was awesome! He understands them well; and I wonder if he is going to have a pivotal role in this story? I hope he is.
Ishani can never keep herself from "ordering" poor Ranveer, can she? And the sight of her dancing... gorgeous! But along with that, there is so much more. A hope. A desire. A secret wish. All of it being capsulated into one thought- she wanted to be loved by him. Oh, this mere thought is so enthralling. I'm not sure why, but it truly is. Probably we look for the parallels between the stories on the forum and the original one and the ones we write have a sanity which the show one had great potential of but failed to materialize things. And Ishani is one of them. She is bound to be jealous of the girl who Ranveer will fall in love with.
"She wanted all of his love."
Wow, I love it!
"That she wanted to be engulfed by Ranveer's love.
That she wanted all of it.
That she wanted to be loved by him.
That she wanted to love him.
That she really, really liked (loved) him after that incident without even realizing it!"
This part summarizes the entire chapter to me. It all is about her longing. And how his statements like he "doesn't love her anymore" must be killing her. She has no idea what hurts her the most: his absence or his statements of having denounced her love.
And, pffftt! The term Sasural just reminded me of Makkhi.
Moving further, Parekhs are really that sane? Good for them. And Ermm! Laxmi left too! God, this was truly the biggest surprise for me in the update. Not kidding. It truly was! :D
And loneliness of the RV mansion felt so stinging. A silence so painful. Not even the quietness of solitude, but a truly painful silence with which she had to deal with. Argh! Poor Ishani. :(
But not all is dark. Relationship between Ishani and Amba improved. Parekhs, Laxmi, Amba and even Ishani. The best changes for the best AU story. ;) Hehe. Ranveer's family treating her good is a comfort to know. Poor Ishani, kitna torture sahegi? Oh, I know how long. xD But Amba's sweetness brings tears in my eyes. *weeps* Just kidding. :D But your description of why Ranveer loves Ishani so much is just <3
Ishani never talks beyond Ranveer. Her favorite topic of thinking, over thinking, laughing, crying and loving is only him. Sighs! How much this girl is hurting herself for him and he's there in Milano. Come back, dude!
Need I say how much I love all these metaphors you've used here? Inky sky full of dark clouds, storms, heavy rain: all representing her agony which have no end. Not without him anyway.
And Ranveer. Now you do come to him, and it breaks my heart for him. And need I say this is precisely what I wanted in the show as well? No, not him running to another country and leaving her all alone, but his cold anger expressed itself in his own destructive way. His anger that she couldn't endure and he couldn't help. Agh! That angst. I believe you have something like this in your mind, right? I know I'm late for this but still. I'm yet to read the rest, you know? :D His suffering over here might not be that evident but we do know his live, right? And in the little parts you've mentioned about him, I can't help, but let my cheeks go red in insane blush. Oh, Ranveer! Why are you like this?
And then the end! God, you're a true chamchi of LM! THIS cliffhanger you left for the poor readers to count on! And I'm lucky then (or so I hope). Ranveer calls Ishani rushes to receive his call.
"Nothing was difficult for Ishani." tehehehe. She turns into a superwoman when it comes to him, does she not? And we love her this way.
Ermmz! I have written a lot. One of the longest reviews and I'll be praying I'm making sense and it's not the same old nonsense I have let out.
And now to your notes. I'll beg to differ on one point when you said stories are just words and we should read them (congratulations for encouraging the readers to read sadism!); but you know, stories aren't just words. They are clear emotions... what we feel everyday. And sometimes some of them strike a chord with us and those emotions become a vivid reality. And as human nature goes, we tend to care about them. The deeper the emotion, the greater the care. It's my own experience with the characters. Be it Ranveer from MATSH or Frodo from LOTR.
Hah, I will better shut myself right now. See ya soon.
