Chapter 02
I didn't like staying awake late night but my work asks me to. I have to sleep early tonight as I have a meeting tomorrow. It is a huge success for me. This meeting means alot to me. The story of my career is very long but I can summarize it.
I was never a party girl. My friends were used to say that I was boring and monochromatic person. I didn't find anything cool in these activities or might be it is because of the incidents happened in my life. One by one everything went out of my hand and I was like unable to do anything. I just wanted someone to believe in.
Everything looks very easy but it isn't. After my father's death nothing went fine. I studied MBBS in California , I wanted to be a cardiologist. After completing my house job in Stanford Health Care"Stanford Hospital, Stanford - California I started practicing there. The life was going really good. My family was happy in India, my parents were proud of my and even they 8were searching for a guy for me. Though I wasn't interested in getting married. Suddenly, my life turned. One day, I got a call from Kaka , he informed me that Papa died following a heart attack. On my return to India, things were not the same. I was asked to complete the funeral rituals of Papa. The behavior of Baa, Chaitali kaki , Disha and Devarsh was not the same anymore and they were treating maa in the same way. I didn't care about myself but Maa, she had recently gone through the incident of Papa's death, wasn't it enough to break a person or they will try to break her even louder. I asked maa about the reason behind their bad behavior and she said , it was because Papa was no more with us. I also asked from her the reason behind the death of Papa and she said that the reason behind his death were business crisis. I was shocked to hear this as Papa told me a week ago before his death that everything is going well. One the other hand , they also didn't care about Papa, they just wanted to know about his property. But to their surprise , I was given the power of attorney and also the 50% of his property , to be honest, I also expected the same from Papa as he knew his family.
From that day , I decided to bring my father's business back on the track. I worked hard and I am proud that I have gained his lost fame back. Today, the behavior of my family members had changed again as they are the servants of money but I am happy that Sharman bhaiya and Kaka are not like the rest.
