He was sitting in his cabin, his hands on the table and his head on his hands...there was a light knock,
he composed himself and rested his head on chair's back and allowed the person at door to come in..
''good afternoon sir'', said Puneet in an official tone..
''good afternoon'', he said in the same way..,''is something important?", he asked in professional manner,
''aaam..,are You done with Your lunch sir?", asked Puneet hesitantly ,
''no,actually I had had a heavy breakfast at home itself so not feeling for lunch...'', he replied blankly.., though the man standing was not satisfied but he had no other way...,
''okay then sir here are the CV(s) of the current appliers for the vacancy of manager , can You look over them,, so that we may call Your approved ones for interview?", ...
"'aaa... Puneet will You please do a favor for me?", asked Ranveer appealingly,
''yes of course Sir, please do order..'',said Puneet being a good PA.,
''aam ..will You please check on them by Yourself.., and select which you feel capable, then brought those files to me.., I'm not feeling able to check them all.., and I think I can trust you for this more than anyone else..'',
''thanks sir'' said Puneet,''for the complement, and sure Sir I'll check them out..'',
he was up to leave where he turned back and said hesitantly ,''Sir.. aaa I mean if You are not feeling well then You may take off sir..,I mean there is no such work so..if You...'',
''its OK Puneet I'm fine..,thanks for concern'', he said softly, Puneet only noded his head and left...
he was still thinking on some point beside being guilty of his behavior in morning.., he was worried for something he just spoke to himself.,''from where I'll find someone for...'', he could not complete it..,
on the other hand Amba was on the way back from Mandir where her foot slipped a bit and she was up to fall, a man in his late twenties held her with one hand while his other hand was on her 'pooja ki thali' ,he held both skillfully , he made her stand still and asked''are you OK aunty...?'', where his last word was only years by himself when he looked upon the lady in front of him.., his features suddenly got loose and a smile appeared on his face which was confusing Amba and she even did not answered the man..,''You...you are Amba kaki right??!", asked man anthausiasticaly, Amba slowly nodded her head in the same confusion,''b...but how do you know?", asked she.., ''hey kaki ..,me Shekar,you remember?",
''shekar...Shekar...Shekar...''Amba was concentrating on thinking where she suddenly lifted her face up and spoke suddenly,pointing her finger at the man,,she said in a questioning yet confident voice,''Gollooo'', where Shekar's gaped mouth in excitement went close instantly along with his eyes,''kya kaki, from where m I gollooo now?!'', he spoke pointing at his physique with his both hands,, where Amba in surprise,''array haan, how my golloo became so smart?", Shekar simply said,''time kaki time'',
Amba ,''hmmm.that's good, by the way when you came in Mumbai?",
''just 2 days ago''answered Shekar simply,''actually in search of job'', Amba asked in the same tone as before,''so have got any?", ''no kaki, you know difficult it is to find it now a days'', Amba barely had nodded her head where Shekar took her with new question,
''what about Ranveer kaki?, and of course kaka?", where at the start of question he noted the colour of Amba's face fading,but he ignored, ''hmmm,fine'',said Amba ...
she quickly changed the topic,''where have You stayed in Mumbai? '',
''in hostel'' said Shekar ruffeling his hair..,
Amba looked at his face for a while, then she said in a determinant voice,''tk then let us go to the hostel first and then to our home'', Shekar saw her in confession,Amba: ''what..why are you looking at me in this way, we will go hostel to pick your luggage that's it'',
''luggage!!?" asked Shekar,''haan,coz now onward you will live with us'', said Amba with a bright smile,where Shekar resisted many times but in vain, finally Amba accepted his objection and spoke,''tk you may leave our house as soon as you get your own apartment , but till then you will live with us only, now no more argument'', Amba's voice was firm, and Shekar bonded his head getting no other way...
Ranveer was still sitting in the same position rest in his head in chair's back, there was again a soft knock, RV recognising the way asked Puneet to come in.. Puneet coming forward spoke in professional tone,''sir I've check on all these files, and as you said I got 5 of the appliers the most capable of all, now you may suggest time for meeting of bord of directors for their interview, but before that you may take a glance at these 5 CV of the persons naming, Nikhil Sharma, Raj chopra, Shekar Mehra, Pre...'',where he was cut short by Ranveer,''wait.. which name you just told?,", Puneet said a bit confusingly,'' sh..Shekar Mehra..?",
''yeah.just give me his file!", said Ranveer instantly, where Puneet quickly handed it over to him.. by opening the first page his feeble features left a short smile,Puneet was looking at him curiously ,Ranveer then looked up and addressed the already attentive Puneet,''Puneet! just send this guy an appointment letter ,no need for interview, just email him to join in next 2 days itself., Puneet nodes his head,''OK sir!", he left where Ranveer was still wearing soft and relieved features...
Amba with Shekar inters home, where he was looking around the whole house, and wondering,''kaki!, Ranveer became more than I expected'', Amba in a lost tone said,''hmmm he really became more than any of us expected'', Shekar though noticed something weird but ignored...
Baa was sitting in the hall she saw them and asked about the man, where Amba replied,''he was our closest neighbour, Baa, in the town. Forsooth he and Ranveer were used to eat in the same plate, he was this much close to us'', where baa smilingly came toward them, where Shekar bowed to seek blessings, at the same time Kailash peeked the scenario as he heard the name of Shekar at distance , he came near him wearing a happy smile on his face,''goloo! how are you beta , and what about your parents?", where Shekar made a puppy face then again turning normal he spoke,''I'm smart kaka, and so far as my parents are concerned they are doing very well'', where Kailash looked at him with a smile on his face,'' you put it very right, you are really very smart __ in your body as well as in your mind!", where all lough happily, Shekar then asked about Ranveer, every one fell silent, where Shekar was looking at each face, Kailash managing a bit,''array bhai,he is the youngest billionaire , and its not so easy to get that place and than to maintain after attaining, it requires hard work, so for that only he remains at office more than at home'', Shekar lifted his brows and spoke in amazement,''oh is that the key to success! and Ranveer made it. I wish I may also do the same...''.
They all were talking, where vaghailas and paraikhs were happy after a long time, some around of car's arrival reaches their ears, Baa says,''it must be Ishani, she had went to Durga Maa's mandir too seek blessing and happiness for this house., and it seems Maa has full filled her prayers, because I saw my family smiling after this long'', Shekar was a bit confused but before he could say anything, all saw Ranveer on door entrance, Shekar saw Ranveer, same did the later, both were meeting gaze with each other like two threads passing overlapped, Ranveer went in his childhood,
two boys of age 9 and 10 , later the chubby one while former opposite to other, both were in each other's embrace and were crying their hearts out, the chubby one spoke sobbing,'' please don't go Ranveer please, who I will play with?,who I will eat with?, who I will lough with?, who I will fight with?, who I will speak with?, I've no other so close friend Ranveer please do not go please...'', Ranveer wiped his friend's tears while his own were not coming to stop,''I know Shekar, infect all what you said are my feelings as well, but you know what Shekar its time's demand, if our fate has decided our separation, than what can we do, but you know what distance increases the love, and we both will live in each other's heart ,and will grow their together...,and I'm sure one day destiny will let us meet and live together again, may be in good times or in worst of times.., where any of us may need the other too much...'', Shekar who was still shedding tears spoke,''hmmm,and then I'll not let the destiny to apart us again'', where Ranveer now to make the situation easy,''yeah I know you can fight with destiny well, after all my goloo is goloo'', where Shekar got annoyed and was about to hit Ranveer, Ranveer started to run both kept running for some time, where Ranveer stopped by catching hold of a tree, now gasping, where he saw Shekar running towards him, he stood still and waited for him, Shekar took almost 3 minutes to reach,Ranveer well him come by saying,''see you even can't catch hold of me, and you say...'', he stopped in mid way when he saw Shekar serious,''hey goloo what are you thinking about?", where Shekar coming out of thoughts,''Ranveer I'm thinking that if we meet after a considerable period, I mean after we grow up than how will we recognise each other'', Ranveer spoke instantly,''hey don't worry I'll recognise my goloo, after all he is different from others I mean different from other golooos'', Shekar got annoyed,''what Ranveer, you mean I'll remain the same ever?", Ranveer now spoke softly,''mm hmm, actually I want my goloo to b the same ever, and goloo doesn't mean your physique, for me goloo means a love name for my best friend, and you are different because you have something different in your heart, in your mind, in your fragrance, so I'll smell you in thousands of people even...'', this made Shekar emotional,''same is the case here Ranveer'', ...
a tear left his eyes where Shekar came towards him, with his cheeks wet due to tears, he suddenly hugged his childhood friend, where Ranveer had not still folded his Hans around his back, and was thinking about some thing, he controlled him for a long time, and let Shekar remain in hug, when Shekar felt that Ranveer has not hugged him back, he came out of his one sided hug, and looked at Ranveer's face in confusion,''means you have forgot your promise'',Ranveer look at him with a silent face, I'm Shekar..,your goloo, got remember?", said Shekar, where Ranveer pretend to be thinking for a while and then looked at him,'' hmmm , golooo,'',he looked at him from top to toe,''not bad you've held a lot of weight ,good'', he said every word in perfect RV tone, which made Shekar more confuse, while the family members were watching the whole scene in distress,
''nice to meet you again'', a said in a formal way even without forwarding his hand as formality, he then spoke to a servant,'' Ramdin, serve him well he is my childhood friend'',he then looked at Shekar and spoke,''excuse me please'', Shekar without getting gave him way, but he was still in shock.
another car noise ,Shekar who was watching Ranveer going upstairs turned his gaze towards door, Ranveer at the same time stopped in the corridor, to see in door's direction,from where he could see the all but no one was able to eye him, Ishani was entering the house, her saree's paloo was on her head in the way it was somehow covering her forehead so that her sindoor was invisible, same was the case with her mangalsutera which was hidden in her hair, Shekar was lost in the sight of a lady who was coming forward holding 'pooja's thaali', he was unable to take his eye from her, as Ishani got him first in her way she simply offered him 'parasad',he took it still lost, Ishani moved forward but Shekar was still lost, no one noticed him, except the one who was standing upstairs, a smile with a sob left Ranveer's lips along with tears, he closed his eyes in pain...
