Chapter 4

In the Hall

Ritika, Maitri, and Ishani were standing along with Riya.

Ritika - Ishani, look we all three are more sisters than best friends. Ishani, you were always by me when I was in problems. But, Ishani why did you do this? I mean you are still not married and you have a kid before marriage.

Ishani - Ritika, I know you care for me. But for me, Chirag is everything. He wanted to take our relationship to another level. I didn't want to make him sad because he had financial problems. I love him more than anything and I can do anything for him.

Maitri - Ishani Didi, I don't know if I should say this or not. But, Love should be not that blind that you will forget that you have life and family too.

Ritika - Exactly Maitri! Ishani, after Harshad uncle and Falguni aunty, your family is depended on you, Sharman, and Devarsh. Ishani, at least you would have thought of Baa. She loves you so much and have expected from you so much. You would have thought of her rather then Chirag. Ishani I know you will feel bad when I will say this, but I don't like Chirag and neither he loves you. If he would truly love you then he would have got married to you first rather then doing this all nasty stuff before wedding.

Ishani - Ritika, I do care for Baa and all. I am really working hard for them. Ritika, just trust me, Chirag is very nice guy. If he would not love me, then he would leave me and Riya alone but he didn't.

Ritika - But Isha-

Ishani - Ritika please! Excuse me...let me catch you guys later and meet some other friends.

Ishani left along with the small Riya in her hands. She went with some to meet some of her old college friends.

Maitri - Ritika Didi, Even I think that Chirag don't love Ishani Didi. When I went to take Riya from him then he just winked at me and gave me a dirty look.

Ritika on hearing this got angry and said, "How dare him...wait let me see that idiot!" Ritika was about to go to Chirag and slap him for doing that.

Ritika - Leave me, I need to teach him a lesson.

Maitri - No Didi, please stop! Please for me!

Maitri somehow made Ritika calm down.

Ritika - Where is Ranveer?

Maitri - I saw him and Chirag going out. He looked angry.

Ritika - What! Let me check on him.

Maitri - No Di, please aap Party sambhalo I will check him. Please!

Maitri somehow made Ritika to calm down and then she left the hall to find Ranveer outside.

Outside

Ranveer was on his knees and was crying badly. "Kyun...Mere saath hi aisa kyun.." He was shouting looking upwards. Tears were rolling from his eyes badly. "If Chirag's enemy was I then why did he hurt Ishani...Why! Why does Ishani have to face all the problems...Why! Why can't she live a happy life" Ranveer was shouting with heavy heart. He was crying badly.

Maitri came from behind and saw Ranveer crying. She ran towards him.

Maitri - Ranveer Bhaiya! Ranveer Bhaiya! Get up! Please get up! Why are you crying?

Ranveer got up and saw Maitri. He stopped crying and wiped his tears. Ranveer was about to go inside the hall but Maitri stopped him.

Maitri - Ranveer Bhaiya, I asked you something. Why were you crying?

Ranveer - Maitri, I was...I was not crying. It was just...something just went in my eyes that's why you thought I was crying. I was not crying.

Maitri - Bhaiya, I know you were crying. Don't lie to me. I am 19 but that doesn't mean that I don't understand anything. Did Chirag say anything to you? Please say bhaiya!

Ranveer - No Maitri, I am not crying and I am lying either.

Maitri - Bhaiya, I know you were crying. Bhaiya, aapko Ishani didi ki kasam.

Ranveer - Yes Maitri, I was crying because I can't see Ishani in trouble or pain. That bl**dy Chirag spoiled her life. I will not leave him. And if he was lying then -

Maitri - No Bhaiya, he can lie but not Ishani Di. Ishani Di will never hide anything from us. She only told us everything. She only told us that Riya is her and Chirag's daughter. Look Bhaiya, I don't want to hurt you but Ishani Di was not lying and this is only the truth.

Ranveer was crying hearing this.

Maitri - Bhaiya, let's go in.

Ranveer and Maitri went it. As they both entered, Ritika went to them.

Ritika - Ranveer, bhai where were you at? C'mon enjoy the party yaar.

A guy came on the stage and said - Hello Everyone! In this month of love, let's feel and celebrate the love. Celebrating love in this beautiful happening party, will be amazing. So let's do one thing, I want everyone to come in the center of the hall. Please!

As everyone heard him all the young people came in the middle of hall, including Ranveer, Ritika, Maitri, and Chirag.

Mr.Zaveri - Ishani beta, even you should go.

Ishani - No uncle

Mr.Zaveri - Please go beta.

Ishani - But Riya?

Mr.Zaveri - Give me, I will take care of her.

Ishani went to the center of the hall and stood next to Ritika and Maitri. Ranveer was standing in front of Ishani, he was mesmerised with her beauty and kept looking at her. Ishani saw him staring at her and she gave him an annoyed look. She looked for Chirag who was standing around bunch of the girls.

The host - You all would be thinking that what are you guys are doing huh? Now let me tell you...You guys will dance here. Yes, you all will have to dance with a partner. But there is a twist, and the twist is you will have to switch your partners while dancing. But at the end of the music, let's see if end up with your life partner or your love of the life.

Everyone found their partners including Ritika, Ranveer, and Maitri. Ritika was dancing with her friend, Akash. Maitri was dancing with Ranveer. While, Ishani went to Chirag. When Chirag saw Ishani coming, he gave a boring look - Now I have to dance with this idiot Ishani. Oh god, when will I get rid of this Ishani and her daughter Riya.

Sun Saathiya started playing and everybody started to dance. After few minutes, everybody started changing their partners. Ritika and Maitri left in the middle of the dance. Only few minutes left, the song was about to end. Somehow, Ishani ended up with Ranveer. They both didn't knew that they were dancing with each other as it was dark so that nobody can know who they were dancing with.

Ranveer and Ishani both felt something magical. Ishani for the first time felt something different, coming close to a person. She kept her hand on Ranveer's chest and thought - His heart, his love, I can feel it. I know it's my Chirag. Ishani smiled and started dancing with passion.

Ranveer, closed his eyes feeling this different moment for the first time. He knew it was Ishani cause his eyes only beated for her and will in future. Somebody pushed Ishani from behind, where Ishani came really close to Ranveer. Their nose touched each others where their lips were few inches ahead. Ishani smiled and blushed feeling his breath.

Tar jaaun tar tar jaaun

Dariya ye tar jaaun jee

Ishq ye paake main tera

Nikhar jaaun ri...

Piya bas teri main

Ho.. chhu le toh khari main

toh khari main khari main...

Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan

The song ended and lights were also turned on. Both of them came out of the hug. Ishani saw Ranveer and she was shell shocked. "Tum?" Ishani got angry. She pushed him and ran towards upstairs.

Ranveer stood there crying.

Ritika went to Mr.Zaveri and took Riya and went upstairs in her room. Ranveer was looking for Chirag and decided to go upstairs and find him.

Ranveer was walking where he heard some sound that came from the wall's back. He went there and saw what was cooking. When he saw that, he got shock. He saw Chirag getting intimate with a random girl. Ranveer got angry - How dare he! He is father of a little child and he is...I will kill this b**stard! Please god save Ishani and Riya by this animal.

Chirag saw Ranveer looking at him and the girl with angry. Chirag smiled and went more close to that girl and kissed her on her lips. Ranveer saw him doing this and he got really mad. Ranveer turned around and said, "How disgusting! Now I will anyhow save Ishani and Riya by this donkey."

Ranveer started walking downstairs in anger. But he stopped by Ritika's room, he heard a baby's cry. Ranveer entered Ritika's room and saw one month Riya lying on the bed and crying. He went to the bed and sat on his knees. He took the little Riya in arms and smiled. When he looked at her, his all anger was disappeared. But a tear from his dropped. Riya touched his cheeks with her little hands. She smiled after touching his cheeks.

"You just went on your mother. You are really beautiful, just like her." Ranveer said and he kissed her little forehead. He hugged her really tight and kissed her face.

Ranveer - God atleast, think of this little kid. What did she do? Chirag's enmity is with me, not with Ishani and this innocent child.

Ranveer brought Riya out of the hug and said, "Baby, I promise, I will love you as much as I love your mother, Ishani. I will never let Chirag or any trouble to come in your and your mama's life. I promise!" Ranveer again hugged Riya and was crying.
