First of all, we know the intensity of Ranveer's love. In the first of episode he himself told us how his love is complete itself as it doesn't need to end up in marriage or happy ending. This IS his love. Pure as a livid crystal, divine as an angel's light, and tragic as the broken pieces of a glass which can never be mended. All of this happened because of one person only and that's Ishani. Ishani who always controlled his senses, decisions, and life in all ways possible.
Now, coming to the topic, as I said Ishani is the one who nearly kills him and it's her who ALWAYS brings him alive. This is HER love. Remember the first time Ranveer was kicked out of the Parekh Mansion, he was tortured ruthlessly, mercilessly for a crime he never committed and was never proved by law. Anyone in ordinary circumstances would have chosen death over such betrayal. Who led Ranveer towards this destination? Ishani, without any doubt. Her single ignorance, however justified, led Ranveer towards death, but it was his desire to see her again was what gave him strength to fight the worst in his life. Not just physical wounds he recieved by the cops but also the heartbreak he got after all that. This instance is not that specific as Ranveer was the one functioning here, but Ishani acted as a catalyst and without her he would never have fought all the odds.
Then comes the infamous KC incident in which she directly becomes the cause of his near death. First by trusting Chirag and letting drive her car and then by her supposed betrayal. It's Ishani functioning here and Ranveer only reacting to her actions. But again, it's her, Ishani, who brings him back to life when he doesn't want to live anymore. Ishani is the one who fights for him from death and makes him feel alive until he starts believing he has a purpose to live.
We're then presented with their face to face episode post the 6 months leap in which Ishani runs away from him thinking she shouldn't be there but he runs after her only to get hit by a speeding vehicle, and AGAIN face death. This time too it's Ishani who led him there. But then again, like before deep down his desire to see her again, a hope that she's back in his life again gives him strength to fight the death and he comes back to her again.
Isn't this funny how their love is equally intense yet like two poles apart? His love protects her, and heals her while hers almost everytime kills him, hurts him yet makes him live again. Hers is destructive and destroys him. Yet it's her love only that gives him strength to go through the impossible.
