There was always a difference between Ranveer's love and other characters' love in this show. Let's start with Mr. Delusional i.e. the great lawyer.
Well, he was the one always saying how his love is so great and blah blah ('cause I don't remember his speeches) but this guy almost failed Ishani from his side when he couldn't control his "pain" and blurt out everything to Ranveer not realizing the intensity of his mistake. Dude, you needed to *trust* your love as you always thought you did. I've never denied Shikhar genuinely likes Ishani (won't say loves) but the thing is that dude lacks ideals in his own life that he preaches to others i.e. Trust, Love and Faith.
Coming to Ishani. I don't think any other fictional character has disappointed me as much as Ishani did. However I do not deny that she loves Ranveer either because I know she does love him. But what keeps her love from being "worthy" is the fact that hers is destructive. When you talk about Ranveer's love you know it heals, it protects, it sacrifices, it suffers for her happiness. But when you talk about Ishani's you know it destroys him more than her, it kills him more than her, it hurts him more than her and still she happily chooses to go with the flow instead of looking at the things and reflecting upon them.
Ranveer has experienced all kind of phases in his love. From friendship to love to betrayal to all sort of confusion. And in all this he has been sometimes right, broken and even morally wrong. But none of this changes his love which shapes his actions and their consequences.
Still wondering why we keep his love in higher regards than others?
