Ishaani is very mahaan very very mahaan... See her motive...

Ishani has come here to expose Ritika. In order to break Ranveer, Ranveer must be aware of the fact that Ishani loves him but then who will tell Ranveer about her gaatha of mahaanta, that she had sacrificed her life, her happiness everything for the sake of Ranveer ... Obviously she herself won't tell.. There has to be a third person to make Ranveer aware about this idiot... May be jailor or Baa can do that... Till then Ishaani might have thought that she will save her love and move out of his life quietly without telling Ranveer about her sacrifices...

I know how idiotic it is but she is like that...

Actually its all the fault of Balaji, Initially they portaryed Ranveer in a very dark light... I don't know whether I am right or wrong but I feel that they hav introduced this promise only for two reason :-

First to bring out Ranveer from that doom they created.. Only to equal the scores of their mistakes. Ranveer's claiming Ritika as his wife was for no reason. Ishani's promise to Shikhar is also for no reason... There is no love that I can see... 💔

Secondly to keep a resistance between these characters... Obviously, dhikra won't be able to keep a safe distance no matter what he has promised to Ritika... They have to avoid the deed 4 sometime... 😉

This is a torturous love story... The only difference is that till hate track ended, the characters were tortured and after the hate track specially after this leap the audience is tortured...
