Chapter 20 Reunion
Ranveer finally reached the Parekh mansion and was met by a worried Amba and Harshad. Looking at there worried face, Ranveer felt a twinge in his heart, the thought of how worried everyone must have been, especially his mother and Ishani. Ranveer walked slowly over to them, he looked at his mother. He could not remember the last time he had seen her so mad before.

"Where the hell have you been and why have not you answered your phone. Did your for one second think what we were going trough, do you know what kind of thoughts crossed my mind. I don't mind that you did not think about me, but you should have atleast thought about Ishani. One day after you confess to her, the other day you don't meet here and the worst is that you just hang up on the phone and are not reachable for hours "Amba said with tears in her eyes.

Ranveer swallowed hard. He and his mother had always had a complicated relationship, although both loved each other very much, it was still a great distance between them. But after several years he hugged his mother, after this cruel day he needed her more than ever.

The last thing Amba expected from her son was the hug, but it gave her a warm feeling in her heart. After years she felt that she got her son back, the son who always shared everything with his mother. But the day her son shot her husband that day had changed there relationship. She wondered on what coast she got her son back.

Amba heard her son cry and she felt that it was the same eleven years old Ranveer who cried the day he had thought he had lost her. She gently whispered soothing words towards her ears, after a while when it went up for Ranveer what he had done , he was embarrassed by his emotional meltdown. Letting go of his mother gently so he would not hurt her feelings , he looked at his mother and after years he finally told her with a cracked voice : " I love you " before he gently kissed her forhead.

Amba smiled from ear to ear, she had lost the hope to ever hear those words. "I love you too beta "she said and Ranveer smiled, but soon the smile turned into a frown when his mother took hold of is ear.

"Ouch , what was that for " asked Ranveer shocked and gave his mother the best innocent look. Amba rolled her eyes and said "Please, I 'm your mother , Ranveer. Just because that look work on Ishani does not mean it works on me as well "

Ranveer started laughing, happy that her mother did not make a big issue about hug. He had missed his mother, although the irony was that she lived with him all these years but still they had been separated. After the day's events, it dawned on him that he needed his mother more than anything, And if one day something happened to him he wanted his mother to know how much he loved her.

Ranveer 's mother smiled and continued with her lecture : " Ranveer , beta you better go and meet Ishani , and don't you dare ever hurt my future daughter in law ever again ! Do you hear me mister?" Ranveer mother said clearly, and saw her son pouting.

"Mom, she is not my wife yet and you are already taking her side "Ranveer complained like a child-
"Don't worry, beta I have your back . After all it not easy to deal with my daughter and her expectations " Harshad finally dared to speak, happy to see the mother and son duo finally reunite after years.

Ranveer looked at Harshad gratefully and high - fived him. Before he went towards Ishani 's room, he had newer been more nervous to see here. He breathed in and out until he finally opened the door to her room and what he saw next moment he got to feel like the world's worst person

AN : Another short chapter , sorry guys :( And I also want to apologize because I had said to some of you that this chapter would be full of Ishveer and Disha 's secret will be out , but when I was writing I felt that Ranveer and his mother's reunion was needed

This reunion was just lovely. ❤️ You captured Ranveer and Amba's relationship so well. This is what we wanted to see in the show, but alas. This is one of the biggest things that we were missed out of. But all thanks to you, we got to have a taste of it. 👍🏼

Thank you so much LM 😊 😳 I loved Ranveer and Amba 's releationship at the first phase but I 'm tired of here hate towards Ishani I really thought these two could be close because of there love towards Ranveer so I really wanted to try to bring that in my story and it makes my heart warm to know that you appericate that and like it ❤️ And sorry for yet another short chapter
