Ishaani didn't fall in love with Chirag but was MADE to fall in love with him, so wasn't a natural love. Could it not be the same for Ranveer?
He's taken care of her from childhood, she possibly made him feel less lonely and she took time out for him so that leads to a natural bond. Just like a starving dog with love the person who feeds him even though he had can be cruel to him. Is that not the same for Ranveer?
We all agree that his love is one sided but can it not also be an illusionary love of the 'unattainable'? Has he not put her and the Parekh family on a pedestal; we have seen time and time again how Baa insulted him and his family but he never did anything about it, but accepted it and like the 'dog' returned back for more. It was THEM that kicked him and his family out, Ranveer didn't leave of his own accord.
His love for Ishaani starts to make sense if it's taken from the 'servant' view; the Princess in the castle, she makes the day brighter in an otherwise dreary day; at the beck and call of others who have no consideration to time or tiredness, including Ishaani.
And the fact 2 years on, even after his success he hasn't forgotten her could be more to do with the fact that the 'servant' mindset has not been lost.
Ishaani hasn't lost her 'badi ghar' ki attitude; when the invitation came did you not see how angry she was, saying 'who does he think he is inviting us to our own home' etc etc She didn't even once consider he maybe someone absolutely new and didn't know it was there old house.
I just want something different to happen in this story that shakes up the concept of love for the girl being the over riding feature, I want Ranveer to put Parental love above romantic love; to love and forgive but unable to forget and to let Ishaani go.
