Why is it wrong for Ranveer to still love Ishaani?

First off, this is *not* an argumentative thread but a general query.
I don't get the criticism Ranveer is getting for "still being in love with Ishaani". Love is purely natural and there's no control over emotions of a person. Ranveer had loved Ishaani since his childhood that is known to everyone and looking at her after years the emotional breakdown was quite obvious. When it's just a natural feeling, why is Ranveer being blamed for that??

but at the sametime can hide the emotions..

Love is a natural emotion which can live whether one is loved back or not.

BUT I don't believe love can survive on it's own; just as you can fall IN love with someone due to their kindness, care, respect, compassion, you can also fall OUT of love with them due to their selfishness, cruelty, lack of respect.

Ranveer may still love Ishaani but it's a love that's tainted with all that happened to him and his Parents. His love for Ishaani may allow him to be able to forgive everything that happened to him, but to his Parents?

Just as Ishaani is blind to Chriag and not seeing him for what he is, Ranveer is doing the same with Ishaani.

And Ishaani is so madly in love with Chirag that she's not even listening to her own Mother then how is she going to love Ranveer?

Why is it ok for Ishaani to fall out of love with Chirag once his colours are revealed (the plot seems to be heading that way) and not for Ranveer to fall out of love with Ishaani after all that has happened to him and his Parents?

I believe love can conqueror much but to be able to forgive and forget that night...no I don't think it can nor do I think it should.

Ishaani did not reciprocate his romantic feelings but she did have special place in his life. There was an episode where Ranveer said, "Everyone reminded me of being a servant, but you made me feel alive, Ishaani." A person who is loved unconditionally by someone since his/her childhood is likely to develop special kinds of feelings for the another one. Snape in Harry Potter does the same. Look at his story, you'd probably say he was an idiot for loving a woman like Lily Evanes/Potter. The theme of the one-sided love is always about one person loving another but not being loved in return. The one-sided lovers I have seen or read about are those people who seem to have loved the wrong persons. Just like Ranveer loves Ishaani. Not everyone deals with the problem in the same way. Nor did Ranveer. His head, for sure, knows he's lost his love, but heart cares not. At times 'tis impossible to replace anyone from your life. You'd rather suffer than replacing that person's memories forever. Ranveer chose to suffer, and that's way too better than committing suicide. He still feels the same, probably, because he thinks he hasn't "lost" her completly yet. I feel Ranveer's attitude would have been totally different if Ishaani had gotten married to Chirag and Chirag were not the evil man he is. Ishaani is not married, and her relationship with Chirag is based on the lies and betrayals that will not last forever.

if ranveer still loves ishani dats not a mistake...its his natural feelings which he experienced from childhood.he loves ishani and ishani though she doent loves him...but ishani always been a great friend of ranveer...who most importantly treated ranveer as a frnd not a servant...n ranveer loves ishani becoz .n will continue to do so.

I am hooked to the shw one and only for Ranveers Love for Ishaani..If they stop showing it thn wht the use of watching it..

Evn if ishaani later reciprocate his love, do u tink ranveer's mum would accept her, well dier is are possibilities for him to go against her

is so called epic love all there is to life?what about familial love, shouldn't that take precedence?
i agree with what someone said, what happened that is not redeemable, not to mention the accumulative cruelty that ranveer's parents have had to endure..

and there's such a thing called self respect which ranveer owes to himself..
