He never looked at Ishaani in a physical way.

Love comes from liking somebody's nature, true. But it will ultimately lead to physical attraction. If you love somebody only platonically, then that's friendly/affectionate love and not romantic love. Romantic love cannot be non-sexual.

loving hugs between Ranveer and ishani are sexual and not friendly.

But that doesn't mean he has not fantasized about her in his mind. That's ideally not possible. His love is selfless, yes. But desire is a different thing. He did not try to "get" her, doesn't mean he doesn't desire her. He loves her after all.

If he did so, I feel, he'd feel very guilty. If it was so, they could show him doing or thinking something like that. Like while reading a book, you can't think of something out of the text (that's a different thing many people do), you HAVE TO look for the evidences in the text, similarly, to prove Ranveer has some kind of desires for her, we need to wait to see if he has any. They haven't shown anything like that so far. When he looks at her, I never got the feeling he thinks "something else", but he loves her soul and heart. I feel, there's a big difference in "desiring love" and "sacrificial love". His is of the second kind. That knows its limits.

Ranveer's love is desiring love and is evident from the fact that whenever Ishaani hugged him he did not reciprocrate bcos if his love was not physical he wouldn't have any hesitation. He has sexual feelings and that is the main reason of his hesitation.
If you see earlier episodes there is no hesitation on the part of Ishaani while touching him, hugging him, crying on his shoulder and even sleeping on his lap.

*coughs* The discussion is going to be quite mature. Sorry, but I never focused no such things too deeply. I didn't focus at all. Lets get back to the original topic. Ranveer and his changed self where he reacted completely differently in yesterday's episode unlike the ones where he used to cry. I am happy to see the character development in him in positive terms.

Having seen the full episode, I felt, I was annoyede with Ishaani as much I was impressed with Ranveer. This girl is getting on my nerves. It may be because of my dislike for fluffy romance or something. But honestly, she needs a break.
