The change in Ranveer's character

I loved yesterday's episode (didn't watch the whole episode, initially it got missed. I'll watch the rest today perhaps) Ranveer, in the last part, was amazing. The part was no different than the ones where Ishaani confessed her feelings for Chirag or she agreed to marry him. But Ranveer was TOTALLY different. He wasn't shown as just crying. There was something else-- like frustration and anger. Both were implicit there. He's not turning into an obsessive lover, but a strong person who is coming out of his old self, and is being prepared for the big things in life. I loved the way they handled his feelings, pain and tragedy. Any thoughts?

You are right. Ranveer had enough of everything. Ishaani is in different world now and no one can save her. She'll have her realisation on her own. Ranveer should leave the house now if the writer is interested in making an interesting story.

Yes I like the fact about ranveer that he truly loves Ishaani but he never even try to get physical with her. He has such a good character that he could sense Disha's motives. He wa so dissapointed by it. His feelings showed it all.

Absolutely. Ranveer's the real hero. Ishaani will realize his importance and possibly his love once he leaves her. I'll wait for the day. :3

This is why I say his love is that of a non-sexual type. He doesn't love her body, but her soul. Most love stories like Twilight and Titanic dealt with this physical attraction and that's the reason I find them annoying. Ranveer's reaction after Disha crap was epic. The last part was the best one.

I can't elaborate on this. But I'll try to without giving away too much. First off, I never felt Ranveer ever tried to show any kind of physical interest in her. He always knew she would never love him, or come closer to him in "that" sense, that did not stop him from loving her. I recall Catherine's words about Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. I can't quote them right now, but the way she loved him is said to be what I said for Ranveer. In simple words, he loves her but doesn't desire for her. I hope I clarified it.

According to me true love is between hearts and not physical at all. Physical attraction lasts for very less time. If its physical attraction based love then its not true love is what I believe. If u rloving a persons character or nature then it will last a lifetime. Ranveers love in that way. He never looked at Ishaani in a physical way.

Elvish: I don't think its possible to love without desire. "Love" itself includes desire. Sure, Ranveer did not entertain any hopes for Ishani, neither did he ever try to seduce her. But that doesn't mean he has not fantasized about her in his mind. That's ideally not possible. His love is selfless, yes. But desire is a different thing. He did not try to "get" her, doesn't mean he doesn't desire her. He loves her after all.
