Written Update 2 April

Aditya comes to Pandey residence calling for Vrinda . He is standing at the doorway. Vrinda comes down.
Aditya says that he has come to see his sister but he cannot step into the house. He adds that he is sure that his sister will come to meet him. Vrinda goes to the doorway. She asks him what the matter is.

He tells her to go with him to an open space where she can breathe freely. But she says she will not go anywhere. Aditya tells her that by tolerating servitude over time she has become a servant. He says that he knows very well she cannot live happily without Vikram. She will breathe but not live because Kashinath loves to torture lovers.
He says that he had no one to give him support but in her case he is there to give her support. He will do her kanyadhaan.
Jiji steps forward and says that Aditya is not wrong.
Vrinda says that she has no relationship with Vikram and she is getting married to her father's choice of groom. She asks Aditya to bless her.
Kashinath smiles but Sharada is not happy.
Aditya tells Kashinath that he has destroyed his daughter's life and he should be at peace. Long live Kashinath Pandey. Aditya turns to leave.

Kashinath calls him to stop and tells him that when he came to the house, the doors were open and upon leaving the doors are open too because shutting the door at someone's face is not in the tradition of the house. Kashinath says that he was silent when Aditya was talking because he was sure that Vrinda would do what Kashinath desired.
Kashinath commands Aditya to get out.
Everyone is shocked. Aditya leaves.

Vrinda turns to look at Kashinath who is smiling, both father daughter embrace.

At the hospital, Vikram meets Aditya to enquire about Raashi's programme for the next day so that he can adjust his schedule. Aditya says that Raashi can now never get better because she is Kashinath Pandey's daughter. He says that Kashinath Pandey is a disease that stays forever and whose children's live is filled with pain. First Raashi, then him and now Vrinda. He says that by separating Vrinda from Vikram , Kashinath turned her into a living corpse. He tells him that Vrinda is getting married. Vikram is shocked. Vikram asks if the marriage is taking place with Vrinda's consent. Aditya laughs tells him that in Kashinath's house only Kashinath's decision rules and she must have been forced to agree to the marriage. Vikram is heartbroken.

Kashinath sees Vrinda lying on her bed, she is lost in her thoughts and crying. He asks her if she is happy with this marriage. He knows that she is not happy with marriage but it is for her best interest. He cannot send her to Banu Pratab's house because he knows she can never be happy in Banu Pratab's house. Vrinda says she is happy with her father's decision as her father can never be wrong.

Vikram arrives home. He is very sad. Maya sees him tired. He tells his mother to sit beside him. He cries on her laps.
He tells her that Vrinda is getting married and his heart hurts.
She tells him that her father, leaving aside old hatred, had gone to Kashinath's house to ask for Vrinda's hand for Vikram. She tells him that in return Kashinath slapped Banu, yet Banu didn't retaliate. Vikram is angry at Kashinath.

At Pandey residence, Sharada brings food to Vrinda in her room. Vrinda is lost in her thoughts. Sharada tells her to eat as now the unhappiness is to last a lifetime for her.
Sharada says that Kashinath has never taken a wrong decision in his life but now she is not sure.
Sharada says that she is unable to stop the marriage when Vrinda herself is agreeable. Sharada scolds her for not thinking about herself.
Vrinda says she is hurting and she is unhappy and in pain. Vrinda further says that she cannot make others suffer her pain for her own selfish reasons. For the unity of the family, she will consume the poison of pain.

Servant comes to inform them that the groom's family will be arriving the next morning.
