but its about a persons life, when person who is an adult atleast acc to law cant decide what she have to do with her life
just bcz she is a girl and widow all the outsiders like shanti can dictate her life
shanti dies for her daughter, and daughter kids but kaushalya and raghav must kill there daughters child why just bcz she cant take responsibiity of the child
isnt raghav literally feeding her sister who is not even an widow
im not even saying shivam should or shouldnt tc of that child
other thing neither the shanti sadan or any income is of shantis but its all hardwork of raghav
now both raghav and shivam taking responsibility of not only there family but sarla and amits family too, here amit is married right
then why cant they take responsibility of nimmis child bcz she is raghavs daughter not sarlas daughter acc to dadi
so when they can feed the so caled beggars sarla, her 2 daughters and 1married son and his wife
they cant feed nimmi and her child
and nimmi is not some orphan she is raghav daughter and shivam sister
even nimmi has equal rights on shanti sadan as it is her fathers house
coming to being a single parent, nimmi is talented she earned before marriage too and more than shivam inface.then even after giving birth to child she can earn through her fd or can open a boutique
so there is no point of she cant take responsibility of a child
coming to her life will get spoiled really in which century or we living
why educated and modern people are talking like those uneducated cheap ppl of this serial
there are many people who get married after having children whether it is divorcees or widows and its not happening first time in the world
if the girl really want that child she have every right to keep her
here it is nimmi who used to fight with dadi, sarla, pari ane even outsiders for her parents, siblings she can even fight for her own child
hope she fights for her child too when she can fight for all those useless and shameless ppl she can fight with for her child too

Agree with you Mukta, but if you have seen today's episode you will see
Shanti says its not Nimmi's child but Riya's child who will carry the lineage.
Hence she not keen on making Nimmi bring the child to this world.

It is funny how they have showed Sarla getting her husband married to Nirmala for a price.
Still the neighbors don't create as much of a fuss, even though is illegal.

Our Indian societies still frown upon widowed woman giving birth. It is a sensitive issue.
When a widow is about to give birth, she wouldn't care about the society if her family is
supportive of her, sadly which is not in Nimmi's case.

It would be commendable of creatives to show Nimmi single handed raise the child
and become an independent woman. But MAM is not a story about Nimmi, it's the kitchen
politics of Shanti and Sarla.

True. Shanti's story can be relatable to matriarchal run joint family householdsin India.
Whatever decisions the head woman of the household make are considered final
and no questions are raised hencefurther.
People like Shanti feel they need to be in control of every action of their children and grandchildren.
