No need to pity Kaushalya at all.
She's one among the worst mother who can exist...
For her own mean she really never protects her children, only to be the good daughter in law.
An animal also does protects it little one but Kaushalya only cries and keeps on giving false encouragement to her daughters when she's good at nothing...Though her family must be very conservative where girls never used to answer back Still she's not that old.. it is her selfishness to keep the goody goody image of nice daughter in law...
