The Year Holi Turned into a Water Park

“One of the wildest Holis I ever had was when we turned our entire backyard into a mini water park! We brought in a pipe, filled buckets, and had a full-on splash war. At one point, someone even dragged a huge drum of water into the center—it was absolute madness, but the best fun ever!

I read A fun fact about Holi is that in some parts of India, like Barsana and Nandgaon, there’s a unique tradition called Lathmar Holi where women playfully hit men with sticks while the men try to shield themselves with shields. This tradition is said to originate from the playful teasing between Lord Krishna and Radha!

So I got curious and later when I was in India during Holi, I visited Barsana and was part of it had so much fun.
