After that challenging and quite exhausting Bingo round, I'm sure you will welcome a little respite!
And like it's been well established, I'm not as evil as my evil co-hosts!
So imma take pity on y'all and kill you with a little kindness
Presenting to you my own brand of meethi churi!
I bring you Round # 3 which is another team game and it involves just making one thread! Easy, peasy, right?
Cos what's the fun if it's too easy?
And I know y'all like to have loads of fun!
Presenting,
Nope, you won't be doing any paani mein dubaoing... that is reserved for 2 special groups of non-participants that we have handpicked well in advance of this game!
No, you don't know who they are!
And don't worry, you won't need to tag them and ask them to do tasks for you.
They're working for us this time!
Intrigued?
So like I said before, you'll be playing this game in the same teams as you were in for Bingo. Except for a few of you who might find their teams changed because of drop-outs this round.
Each team will be posting in one thread that we will create for you.
You have to ensure that each member of your team posts in that thread for 48 hours after which we will lock the thread.
Now for the 'real' twist in this round, the Rules!
Make sure to read them carefully!!!
- We will create a thread for each team and tag you.
- The team members will then begin posting in that thread over 48 hours. There are two types of posts that each team member can make: a 'Holi' related post or a 'Filler' post.
- When we say Holi-related post, we mean anything Holi-related, movie scene, video clip, song, fun facts, etc. Anything will count as long as it has a personal opinion along with the video, song, gif, etc. And for each Holi-related post made within the rules, your team gets 10 points.
- But there's a catch - on one page, you can only have 2 Holi related posts. Editing a Holi post into something else will still count as a Holi post (yes we can see the history!). If your team has more than 2 Holi related posts a page, then we will deduct 5 points from your team.
- Each member of the team MUST make at least ONE Holi-related post, and each team member can make a maximum of 5 Holi-related posts and you will label & number each of your posts as Paani mein dubao # 1, Paani mein dubao # 2 and so on until you get to #5. If you don't make at least one post, the individual team member will lose 15 points but not the team. However, your team will lose out on the potential 10 points you could have gained for a Holi post.
- The remaining posts in the thread will be 'Filler' posts. These can be just chatting, can be discussion on the game, or the Holi related post that was made, personal opinions on any topic etc, but they cannot be just spam posts, or GIFs - they MUST have a personal take. These don't earn you any points. However, every person in the team MUST have at least 3 such filler posts in the thread. Else, we will deduct 15 points from their individual scores (this won't reflect on the team points, only the individual player). We will also deduct 15 points from the whole team if we see more than 3 posts that don't meet the criteria. (if we see a lot of spamming. GIFs etc)
- Now for the main twist - we have a few volunteers that we have grouped into "helpers" and "saboteurs". At any time, these volunteers can post in your thread (you do not tag them, we will do that for you). If a "Helper" posts a Pichkari first in your thread after any Holi-related post, that will fetch the team 10 points. However, if a Saboteur gets to your thread first and posts a Water Balloon, your team will lose 20 points!
- Overall, any "helper" can help a team 3 times only and any "saboteur" can drench a team 2 times only, but only after a Holi-related post goes up and only during the 48 hours that the thread is active!
- REMEMBER!!! Only when a balloon or a pichkari is posted after a Holi related post, it will count. So if your team posts two Holi related posts back to back or before either of these is posted, you could potentially lose the extra points a Helper can give you for every Holi post. You could also potentially avoid losing points via a Saboteur! So it's up to you to devise the best strategy for your team!
Simple enough, right?
The threads will become active at 2030 hrs IST on March 18 and stay open until 2030 hrs IST on March 20.
You have until then to read the rules carefully and get any clarifications from us before the round is launched.
Good luck!
