Oh, Lord...

This day is definitely something amazing for bookworms like me

I never had anything favourite until I was ten when I fell in love with Black Beauty

The book was amazing. The first book for me talked about an animal's whole life.

Before that, I used to be obsessed with Enid Blyton's books. Memories😭

As of now? I still go read Enid Blyton's books because it makes me forget the world and just remember those good old days

For now, a favourite book of mine is Let Me Call You Sweetheart

I have read so many times but still, never get bored😆

Thank you CC, it feels good to dive into such beautiful memories

130 million books? I am sure with how many writers are emerging were are gonna have many more to come

Happy World Book Day!!

As a child, I couldnt help being fascinated by The Treasure Island. No wonder, I read it a couple of times again when not that young!

There are wonderful books being written by wonderful people each day. I was earlier stuck with Jeffrey Archer, not to say I am not now. But I have explored new writings and I have loved books such as "Stuck On You" by Portia MacIntosh, or most recently "The Lost Apothecary" by Sarah Penner. Amazing reads that none should miss. Historical fiction has always fascinated me, and The Lost Apothecary just tops it. It will be hard to beat this year.

Thanks for the wonderful post to the topic creator!

I will always love these two books from rhe countless one I have read till date. These books changed my perspective, if I may say so.

And the mountains echoed- Afghanistan based like many stories of the author, interweaving many stories together. It's fascinating for anyone who likes writing and great book for a readers as how war impacts lives till generations and where it leads you.

Palace of illusion- I always loved MB, how complex it is and how everyone had backstory. The book is focused on Draupadi, and it was great. Also a plus one of this would be Jaya of devdutt patnaik, the story telling, small chapters and illustrations are ❤️

Happy book day to all. I hope books gives us all magical feeling even when we are 90 and wrinkled.😂

Books are important for the mind, heart, and soul. The power to be found between the pages of a book is formidable, indeed, a new world created by a writer waiting for a reader to explore.

Amazing post.

Hey😊 No, I havent read those books 😊 Actually Treasure Island was part of our curriculum and thats how I read it, because back then you hardly got any time to read anything beyond the syllabus 😊 But with passage of time you really wish to go back and revisit those days, and so I re-read this fascinating book. Now I read more of the current new books that are so vastly available on kindle.

Yup now kindle does have a vast collection of books

But I guess due to nostalgia I do get excited about these books

Our school curriculum never had any books like those😒wish they included atleast one

Let the magic of books be alive for years and years to come....❤️

As a teen and college student I got my dose with Romeo and Juliet, I studied it in both French and English, including the different versions of movies...first I was like litterally awww-ing over their tragic love story but now if you ask me today *coughs coughs* 😆

I have also read Life of Pi (Yann Martel) in high school and honestly I loved the book more than the movie. I was so into the story that I have read the story twice in few weeks, my teacher was like "ehhhh hehe what" . 🤣

Currently I'm trying to complete reading Rêves En Noir by Jo Witek ("Black Dreams"), a story of young girl student struggling to live a normal life despite her being blind. A must read ❤️
