Whoever said diamonds and money are what makes a human happy, then I would suggest them to try having a pet.
When we don't have a person to share our worries, there will be always our pets beside us to soothe our pain. They may not understand words but they talk through emotions. Having a pet for a companion is indeed a heavenly feeling.Till now we have heard the chronicles of the owners and confessions of the pets. We are happy that we brought you this opportunity to bring out the pet lover in you. The amazing relationship between two beautiful souls being highlighted with powerful words would have indeed filled your hearts.

Everyone did a great job with sharing your memorable sweet experience with your little pets. Small, small paws, whines and purrs here and there filling your ears!
Now; for some serious game time. Let's announce the winner. It was a tough competition between all the participants. It was really hard for us to judge among such fine competitors. Anyhow a contest must to have a winner.

Irrespective of the kind, there is always unique and unbreakable relationship between a pet and it's master. Whether the owner is considered as a surrogate parent or anything else, a bond coexists between the two. Presenting to all our animal lovers, the love of a pet for his master and vice-versa!

Y...A...A...W...N ... So the day light breaks and here begins a new day ... Am still so sleepy ... ..my eyes refuse to open ...I think I will rather curl up again for another snooze ...Zzz...zzz...

I still remember the day I came here as a Kit, sleeping in a comfortable leather purse. When I woke up, I saw four smiling faces peering at me. They named me "PIKU" ... I don't mind ... Its kind of ...umm ...cute ... :)

I am now a young n beautiful ferret ... almost a year old ...

I love my human mom ,dad and their son too, but I love their daughter Sutapasima the most . She is ready to play when ever I go near her. She must be still asleep right now ... so I will sleep some more till she comes. ...Y...a...a...a...w...n...

Hey I hear footsteps !!... A human is coming !!!... Who could this be ?? ... I quickly climb up to the top most part of my cage and try to look .OH!! its the woman who cleans n wipes the whole place every morning and leaves it smelling like something strange and alien, unlike any ferret or human ... OH NO !! I so hate her !! HISSS !!! ...HISSS !! ... Can't you just leave this house !!...HISS !! .. This is my house , PIKU the ferret lives here !! You have no business to wipe out my scent markings from the floor and all the nooks n corners !! HISS !!! ...

!!! HEY !! DON'T you touch that litter tray !! ... That is my potty and its meant to remain here !! I want the whole house to smell of my potty so that the entire world knows this is MY Territory !!

OMG This woman always fails to get the hint and clears my potty every day ... I think I will surely bite her the day I get a chance !! HISS !!! HISS !!! ... I jump and get agitated inside my cage to show my displeasure . HISS !!!

I can't wait to be let out ... Soon I hear mummy and daddy coming down for their morning meal. Their son comes soon after and he opens the doors of my cage and I run out ...

Freedom at last !! I dance and jump and somersault and shake with new found joy ..."DOOK...DOOOK ...DOOK !!!"

My human family sits together for their meal and while they do that, I climb all over them and rub my scent on them ... .. Dunno why every morning they wash their mouths with something smelling strange and their whole bodies smell even stranger ... After all they are my family and I want everyone to know that they belong to my clan. There comes my darling Sutapasima .. Mom serves a bowl of ferret food pellets and she gets them to me . I love my little girl and climb all over her and mark her with my scent. She sits by me till I finish my entire bowl of crunchy yummy food . Now I run all over the house and all nooks and corners to leave my scent mark on my territory .

Dad is the alfa male of the family and he leaves the house first . I watch from the window the two kids leave in another vehicle ... OH No !!!!...the neighbour's cat is rubbing against Sutapa's legs and putting the catty scent on her !! How dare she .. Sutapa belongs to me .. Just wait you naughty cat I will teach you a lesson soon ... HISS !!!

Oh my goodness !!!.All this hard work is so tiring ... I drowsily climb up into mom's lap and she cuddles me in her arms ...she is the alfa female of my clan ... She mutters sweet nothings into me head and I rub my scent all over her ... "Dook ...dook "

Soon I doze off in the warmth of her arms ... I am not aware when she places me in the comforts of my cosy box in the cage and quietly leaves for work ...

At dusk I am woken up by my little girl and lets me out of the cage and I dance leap and twist in the air to show my happiness in living with my happy clan of humans . I squeak, screech , clatter and shiver boisterously and play with her .I rub my scent all over her .She is my dear friend and I feel so possessive about her .

In the back yard I chase the cat around for daring to trespassing into my territory and having the audacity to mark my humans ...HISS !!!

Soon Sutapa's brother Shubho comes and they fix my harness and take me out for a walk with the friendly beagle next door . I kind of like him and rub some of my scent on him too !!

We go for a walk and ooohh so many scents tantalize my nostrils and I can smell yummy rodents hiding in the holes .. I try to burrow n dig but Shubho pulls me back by my harness after only a bit of digging ..this is so disappointing .. I screech loudly and stop only after he offers me a treat instead ... Yummm... I love the dried chicken muscles ...

Once in a while I get to swim in a tub of water they provide me , but they soon put the harness and rub some stupid smelling foamy frothy stuff all over me which I try to resists and slip away but they hold me tight and scrub me all over .. After a few moments the frothy bubbly stuff is washed off and they towel me dry which is quite cosy ,and then they dry me up by blowing some hot air ... This Is followed by Sutapa taking me in her lap and giving me lots of treats ...

I love Sutapa and my family so much .. They take good care of me and am so comfortable in this house . I don't mind the strange smell that emanates from me for the next few days after my bath even after I try to lick it off, .Sutapa likes that smell and I like to see her happy . Luckily the smell disappears after 2 or 3 days and I again smell ferrety and so nice .

I return home weary from the walk and have a drink of cool water . I do potty in the litter tray and wash myself in the bowl of water . I want to rub my rear on the carpet but mom gets so annoyed with that ,so I avoid it .

[CENTERI am given freshly cooked chicken and fish and eggs which are delicious . I always dose off into Sutapa 's warm n soft lap while she is doing some careful scribbling n scratching on well cared for bunches of papers , I am never allowed to lay my paws on those papers. I so want to rub my scent on them , but no worries I will do it some day when she is not looking . I feel so tired by now . Living in a house, marking my territory and my human clan is a lot of hard work [/CENTER

I am off to catch a cosy snooze ... and ... enjoy happy dreams of my happy life with my humans ...

Laughingpearls ... Pet name Bella, a 2 year old Labrador.

It all started two years ago, I was a few days old baby when my mom died leaving me all alone in this world.I was too weak that I am unable to open my eyelids completely. The more I tried to move the more it pained. I thought I am going to meet my mom in heaven shivering in the rain. But I was proved wrong. A warm hand picked me into its arms and fed me some warm food. I ate with content and had a great sleep. This followed for few days until I was able to run energetically. But that day everything changed.
The neighbours of the house which I am living complained about my barks disturbing them. They threw stones on my tender skin and fought with the owner of the house. The warm hand which fed me food picked me in its arms and settled me in the passenger seat and drove to an adoption centre. That warm left me with all the other dogs and kissed me a final goodbye.

I missed the warmth.

I immediately ran and followed the jeep which dropped me here. I didnt care about the adoption centre screams for me nor the pain in my still developoing legs. As soon as the person who nurtured me came to my view I jumped over her and licked with happiness.

"Oh my God! Are you for real. Did you come back to me?" The warm hand caressed my body and I cuddled close.
She took me inside and stood as a shield infront of me since that day. My everyday starts with her and ends with her. I have a house of my own now. A bliss runs my body hearing her voice every morning. Walking with her everyday to water the plants, having y breakfast with her gives me content.
Since the day my owner adopted me and called me as her own I have never felt alone. Every second with my owner made me wanted and loved.
I dont boast myself as innocent and obedient because that's not what I am! I have been the most naughtiest pet I'm the world and thank God my owner is so patience towards me. I have chased the kids who tried to spoil my owners house. Oops! Its our house.
The doctor who pays a regular visit to our house always appriciates my health as I well being. All thanks to my owner who never lets me to eat the junk and spoilt food. I hate taking a cold shower. I always had my shower with tepid temprature. Not cold nor hot.
I have recently started learning dance along with my owner. I don't understand the song but I just shake my body to the beats. [/CENTER]
[CENTER]To be honest I stopped missing my mom when my owner adopted me into her life. I feel the most luckiest pet ever to have such a joyful life.
Oh yeah! I forgot to mention my name right? Well I was named as Bella.

Life is such a weird thing ...I was playing with my mother and siblings yesterday and today my price is 3000 Rs per pair.Wait a second did I say pair .Oh god whom I going to pair with. I looked around the hutch and saw a male puppy munching the carrot kept for me. The puppy started wagging its tail on seeing my annoyed look. This shopkeeper is one crazy person. Who would keep a bunny and puppy in a same hutch? .Can't blame him though. He doesn't seem to that rich to own many cages and kind at heart for feeding nice food and some toys which that puppy playing with. In my mind I wanted to leave this place especially this cage and binking in the grass field.

Sadly looking at the moving vehicles noticed two ladies walking towards the shop. Looks like someone I knew ...Eeks , she is back with her mother. It's Time to say cheese. The daughter took her mobile out and started clicking pictures. She looks like fond of me. Hope shop keeper doesn't allow her to touch me. In over excitement she would end up pulling out my ears. After photo session I noticed she headed towards inside the shop... In these vehicles' noise sound I can't hear their conversation and why am I thinking about that ...is that important to me? Anyways

They came outside d shop. I noticed that lady and her mother convincing the shop keeper on something. Let me try to hear them now ...I really like the bunny ...I would like to buy it said the daughter. Her mother stressed same.

I can't madam ...I always sell bunnies as a pair ...only one female bunny is there ...wait for few more days you can buy as a pair ...somehow both the ladies convinced d shop keeper ...

On hearing this I felt so happy ...I m so excited ...I m getting a new home...Wow this lady seems... no Sandhya ...I heard her mom calling her with his name ...So nice...

Shop keeper put me inside a small cage which meant for travelling purpose ...I saw them buying toys , food dispensers, vitamin drops to add it in water and much more ...I am amazed getting to know all these . Purchasing done now they own me ...and her mother carried me and we are travelling in two wheeler ...On the way they have been discussing a name for me ...her mother ...wait they own me I should refer her as aunt ...Mee (mom), u have got one more daughter to take care of Sandhya said

Her mother agreed too...I m feeling so bad now ...I didn't like her much and now she is considering me as her little sis ...I m blessed and so happy...and in sec a thought came to my mind ...kids ??? what did she meant by kids ...already she got so many bunnies in her house ...No that's not possible ...She purchased food dispenser and even ordered new hutch for me ...So It's not about bunnies ...Before I could think we reached the home ...and two dogs in d terrace started barking and wagging their tails. That sacred hell out of me ...where my destiny brought me ...Sandhya did hold me on her hands and introduced me to her dad, sis ...and her pets too...and warned not to scare me ...I m relieved ...and now its about my name ...Her sis suggested her to name me Caro...Yay ! Sounds nice ...And everyone one liked it and started calling me Caro...Everything is fine...me ve started liking this new one but these two ...no three dogs ...One was inside the house while I was entering ...How I am going to cope up with these three ...Will they ever be my friends ...She even got budgies , finches ...and even feeding small birds...I m so happy and finally I could sleep peacefully after being separated from my own family ...

Days passed...I m loving the place more each passing day and these three dogs Lucky,Suja(what a weird name a pet can get lol) and Muffy(Muffin)...yes you all heard it right ...they are my friend ...It all happened that night ...when a cobra snake entered our house ...the snake hided behind a drum ...Muffy and Suja weren't letting move d place ...The snake was shivering ...all of them came outside to check why dogs were barking and in that time ...the snake escaped ...that day I realized how protective they were ... And saved me and all of us from snake ...

And we happily lived ever after till I heard Sandhya thinking about buying a pair me ...oh no hope its that puppy...eww

A tale by Caro...I may be the virtual pet ...but this story is real *winks*

I was waiting impatiently for the results since the last round. Not that I am confident about winning but I am so eager to meet the cute pets. As soon as I checked @meena posts I found this thread and immediately reserved the place even before reading the thread. As soon as I saw @sutapasima as runner up.. I was like wow she deserves it. She has been like an active bunny from the start. She loves the pets immensely. Then I realised now who is the winner? It was laughingpearls... wait what. I thought it is a typo and the cc team will change after noticing this...but nothing of that sort happened. I accepted the truth later. Bella, my puppy, this is for you dear if not for you I would never get this lovely siggy. @sutapasima though you took second place here for me you are the worlds best pet lover. No one can love a pet like you do. I dont know about other participants coz I am busy wondering about you and your love for pets.

To the CC team, what can I say to you all? You always hold a special place for me. I was feeling too low and lost interest that day but everything changed when this results thread came. It boosted my energy letting me know I am worthy. You people didnt knew how you are helping me unknowingly... Since the day i have joined IF (approx 2 years) whenever I feel low or dull you brighten or cheer me with all your creative threads. Seriously, the halloween contest, I am so scared of devils, chudails, etc etc but your game gave me strength to research day and night about all spooky things. Hehehe I still think about those days how I used to search about creepy, spooky, scary things 24*7... I have participated in most of the contests your team has given and I am thankful to each and every one from your team to bring the spirit in us. I have learned from you all that winning means to partcipate till the end and not to quit in middle. A very big thank you CC team, you people are doing great. I love you lots and lots*screaming my lungs out*

Now my shweet Bella, the story which I submitted is true except that it was called puppy and not bella. I was 4year old when Puppy came to my life and when I turned 7year old my puppy became a star. Since that day I regret for not holding it close to me even once. I was so scared that time and ran away from it whenever puppy used to come near me. Just why? Now whenever I see someone pampering their pets I instantly regret for not spending my time with puppy.

Okay coming out from all drama I just realised how much I typed...Sorry gals I am a chatterbox so I cant help :-) I am stopping before I make this an one shot lol... Bye. Love you all...keep smiling. :-)
