A proper health leads to a happy and content life. Since women's health concerns are increasing, we would like to point out some vital health issues and some tips to help you lead a healthier life.
Men and women share the common diseases but there are some diseases which occur in women at a considerable higher frequency. High Blood pressure, which is caused by Kidney diseases, and migrant headaches occur in women to the ratio of 3/4.
Other diseases like Urinary tract infection, irritable bowel syndrome and gallstone are common among women.
A condition called Osteoporosis occur both in men and women but is more likely to infect women more. The disease is such that the density of the bone decreases. This has raised a great amount of concern and research shows that one among two women over 50 are supposedly to suffer from this condition.
There are some particular cancers which affect women in a high scale. Such as Breast cancer, Ovarian Cancer and Uterus Cancer. They're severe health issues, but curable...if detected early.
Breast Cancer
It is among the leading causes of women's death in cancer around the world. Studies show that about 12.4% women of USA are likely to suffer from this cancer. Research tells us that the smaller the breast-size the higher is the possibility of surviving.
Ovarian Cancer:
This cancer is also known as silent killer as it cannot be easily detected during the initial stage. There three types of ovarian cancers: Epithelial tumors, Stromal tumors and Germ cell tumors. It's still not very clear what causes this cancer.
Here are some signs of cancer in women:
1. Breast changes
2. Bleeding between-periods.
3. Bloating.
4. Skin Changes.
5. Loss of appetite.
6. Blood with urine and stool.
7. Weight loss without trying.
8. Fatigue.
9. Coughing & Fever.
10. Depression.

Giving birth... These two words itself draws out a beautiful flutter in one's heart. Women have been fortunate enough to be gifted with the ability to give birth to a new life, a new human being. They nurture their child for nine months and during this blissful time period, a special connection forms between the mother and the child. A child brings a bundle of joy as it breathes its first pump of fresh air, but for this harmonious ecstasy the mother has to take some precautions for a healthy pregnancy and a well bouncy baby.
The first three months of the pregnancy are the crucial time where the mothers have to be extra careful with themselves. This is the time when the child's organs are developed and any wrong step by the mother might be harmful for the child. Below are some things/items that one can avoid during pregnancy.
Fish and seafood
Fish and seafood are a delight to eat but during pregnancy it is better to take as less as seafood possible because seafood contains a high level of mercury, which is harmful for the developing foetus.
Caffeine
According to some researches, caffeine can be unhealthy for the foetus. Consumption of caffeine can cause sleeping problems and irritability. Premature birth can take place.
Alcohol
Consuming Alcohol during pregnancy can be very dangerous for the foetus which is growing inside the mother's womb. After birth the child may face problems learning, growing and may have anomalous facial appearance.
Cigarettes
Severe health problems tend to occur because of cigarette smoking. Even passive smoking can cause equal amount of damage to the foetus. Infections, sudden death of the infant and breathing problems are triggered because of smoking.
Proper Medications
Before taking any herbs or medications, please do go to your doctor. Some medications can cause harm to the foetus which is why it is better to consult a doctor before doing anything.
