As,I was viewing the news coverage of this gangrape now..there is new NEWS FLASH..which says 5yr old was raped by family friend in Bihar..Sick ,and tired of all ths!Enough is Enough!Govt. Should stop giving out speeches and ACT!make laws strong..Restore its fear!Death penalty isnt the perfect punishment for such heinous crime..such monsters should be castrated!the details of that gangrape ..and the rod used for..is just so barbaric,Disgusting!

Poor soul is fighting with al her vital organs permanently damaged!What demons the society are producing?and how they are being nurtured due to the bad state of the system,law,every damm thing!Police too arent to be trustd,Where I see them too involved in passing lewd comments or leachrous stares!DISGUSTING!Shame on The GoVT for incapibility in implementing law and assurring its effectives n there by jeopardizing the Safety of every Single Woman in streets,office or Home!

Yes. Ms. Mamta Banerjee is out of her mind. She has been for a long time now. I'm ashamed that she is my CM. She has the habit of coming up with bizarre "explanations" in the name of covering up for the inabilities of her government. If you probe her more, she's likely to go more weird with her comments. She can ban cartoonists, call school student a Maoist for asking a simple question, say girls are begging to be raped. But you'll not see her making any constructive progress. 🤢

But I don't want to single her out. We are living under gunda raj where the protectors are predators. It's the same story in every part of India.

God knows how many women go through sexual harassment every minute in our country. And this is the country where the same abusers worship "Maa" in so many forms. Ashamed to be an Indian. Until and unless there is a fear of law ... cases like this are not going to stop.

This incident has left me harrowed. Ever since this has happened, I'm unable to come up in terms with it. This is such a slap to the whole nation, esp females.

Its funny how the maximum heinous crimes happen in the so called capital of our country. Seems like the whole police force and judiciary is all concerned only about the protection of Parliament and alike. Its so so so pathetic to know how inefficient our system is. I'm outraged. I've many friends living there and its really scary and terrifying. Thank God that people have come down to streets together to raise voice against it.

As mentioned in an article I read in TOI, I too believe that more than death sentence, punishments like castration, chemical or surgical, should be used. It's really possible that the combination of 'Death and rape' would instigate criminals to commit murders and have no witnesses left.

P.S: I also read the same article mentioned by Escape.My.Love few months back. The Italian Court decision literally made my eyes-pop. It was baffling, incredulous and downright ridiculous!

The news has left me and parents more scared as ever.

Living in the world's most unsafest country and india's ''capital'' i now fear to even step out alone and even with anyone.
Being a teen and coming back home after my classes arnd 8 or 9 was never SAFE.
My parents call me aftr every minute inquiring abt me.
After this the whole country is SHOCKED !

The most DISGUISTING news. The rapist should be given the same amt of torture the girl has to go through.
I really pray for that girl.
Govt is just useless.
An advice for girls : please learn some self defence tricks and carry pepperspray for your own safety.
The girls are not safe even at broad daylight. Rather that blaming girls for their clothes and behaviour every parent should teach their sons on respecting girl's dignity.
Why shud girl's freedom be at stake coz of those animals or demons.
I am coming to india gate on 22nd.
I am and will be an independent girl and NO animal has THE right to stop me from that.
Is it a crime to be born a girl ??

Donno , what to say , I'm a teen-age girl who does daily passengery to college , though I love in Kolkata , my parents are always worried about my safety n I'm not allowed to stay away from home after 8 at night , thanks to horrible people like this Rapists , no punishment is enough for the crime they have done .
