Isabgol does not dissolve in any liquid rather it absorbs water and become mucilage which moves well in our intestines. Its a great fiber diet. The idea is to take it, doesn't really mater how you take it. It can be taken with yogurt, Juice, milk or water. Can be mixed with any liquid and quickly drink it otherwise it becomes thicker.

Thank you so much for the info! Some of it I was already quite faimiliar with other was new. However I was wondering one thing...does ispaghol help IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) patience?

Well rahmona ji, I'm not a Doctor but there could be a few reasons for IBS.
1. IBS patient may have some problem with his/her gall bladder. Eithere there are stones or its not realesing Bile juices properly on time.
2. That person may have some issues with liver - he may have to check his diet, reduce high fat and high carb. food. Increase the intake of fruits and vegis.
3. Isabgol will help in reducing symptoms if taken regularly - 1 table spoon full every night.
Please also refer to my other thread: cancer prevention and cure. I'm sure the diet given there will certainly help IBS patients.
