Tbh I don't get it either. She also wanted a kid with him and tried to seduce him. And gave bone-crushing hugs like the other day. Writers always write P so hot and cold in this aspect of their relationship.

I will say this time she didn't shy away the second time, but they were interrupted. She, for some reason, has to stay at D house.. because? Did they explain that other than "Amruta is handling everything"... bc hasn't Amruta had to handle everything since Pallavi got married? I... don't... get it?

I suppose they just need a way for there to be a scare for P to get caught (precap). Gotta build that unnecessary tension and suspense.

They could've just had them blur the kiss and move to the next scene. And then come back to them and Pallavi is leaving. Sometimes I wonder if these writers have ever watched a romance show, or read a book. Or something.
