I've seen episode 2 and will give a short write up. Episode 3 I will see in sometime.

There was so much story movement in the first few episodes. I've always loved the pace of the show.

But I am wid you on this. The first time Raghav gave her the dress......I had the exact same thoughts. Like why is it needed for a FL to be in western clothes or short dresses to make her look more attractive. I personally find it incredibly romanctic if beauty and attraction superceeds clothing. I mean I would hv loved it their romantic scenes didnt require her to look different everytime.

But I do get why they do it though. So I hv never complained.

Oh and I personally didnt like today's dress either.

Yes her gown (bottle green and not black btw) didn't seem to fit according to me. Neither with her character nor with the place where she was going to meet. You don't wear an evening gown at a coffee shop, it's out of place.

They should have rather shown her wear this in retaliation of Raghav calling her aunty - like Ghamandi Rao ab batati hoo kaun aunty hai. Atleast it would make some sort of sense. I love the fact that Pallavi loves wearing sarees, that's her jam. If she wears other clothes because she likes them or for Raghav according to the place, I'm all for it so I understand your reservations. But like a lot of things, I do hawa main filter this.

Also, as far as the earlier black gown is concerned, Raghav told her clearly he wanted to see her in something different and the intention was clearly to hint at getting intimate. If he gifted her a sari or an Indian suit it wouldn't imply his intentions. A backless gown with a high slit directly implies what he wants from her. That is how I perceived the scene and the fact that she wore it in her room for her husband was perfectly fine. Also, in the hospital she covered it up with a shawl, again in character.

Also, I don't think they have ever portrayed that Raghav loves her or looks at her differently when she wears western. He's equally mesmerised with her in indian outfits, listing down for benefit of everyone:

1. Manasi sangeet - pink lehenga

2. Keerti photoshoot - pink sari

3. First time room sharing - White bathrobe

4. Second time room sharing - blue nightgown

5. Vat Savitri - red sari

6. Black gown

7. Marathi dinner - marathi sari

8. Janmashtami - lehenga

9. Bottle green gown.

Please remind me if I've missed any.

This is a very interesting topic, I'd like to discuss hahah

It was bottle green😲. Hv to see again den.😆

@ bold : Agreed on dt part. Looked pretty out of place.

So coming to the first black high slit gown. I understand your perception of the scene. But I didnt perceive it dt way or you cn say I still dont. See for me it was too early in their relationship for Raghav wanting to get intimate wid her. Its not much about saying ILU to me but it rather had to do wid the fact that it ws too fast. Yesterday she said she is ready to move on and next day he hints at getting intimate😆. So for me it was just a gift and like he said it ws to see her in a diff light. Also I perceived it as......Raghav has a better taste in western and so dts what he went for.

As for the rest. You didnt really get me. See I hv put up another post where I hv written why Pallavi dressing up in western makes sense and I dont much make it an issue.

I dont mean Raghav doesnt appreciate her in her indian looks. Infact what I said is I like it more when he does dt . It looks very natural to me. But for some reason writers hv this idea that they need Pallavi in a western outfit every now and den and it has to be a romantic scene.

Dt said I do also hv this understanding tht many guys in real life also like seeing their wives in western wear bcz its a change for them.....which is quite alright.

Dt scene will always be perceived differently by everyone. For me it was very sudden and I was certain even if the nail thing hadnt happened , they wouldnt hv consummated. They might hv ended up hving some close moments but it wouldnt hv been more than that. Just saying I am ready to move on doesnt mean you are ready to be intimate. Its a progression . Atleast for me its dt way.

As for the scene where he sleeps on her.....I had made a post on it earlier. For me it was a small progression. It was not like she was ready for intimacy but rather it was more about comfort and trust. She trusted him that he wont try to cross his boundaries while she ws asleep and also that she was not uncomfortable around him or with him. And such things happen when you share a bed. Most natural. Wid all that , there ws also that subtle brush of physical intimacy . For Pallavi it was the first time she hd experienced physical intimacy and the whole scene dt followed her in the washroom ws her response to that experience. ......a whole plethora of emotions........their was anxiety , anxiousness ,palpitations , awkwardness, excitement and a bit unexperienced pleasure.

Anyways all I am saying is I didnt see this scene leading to a consummation scene next. But its open to interpretation and I understand dt. So I respectfully will agree to disagree on dis.

Raghav went right for a lip kiss, indicating that he was ready to take their relationship to the next level that night after Pallavi consented to move on in life with him and also accepted his gift which was quite of intimate nature.

I believe they would have consummated their marriage as nothing stood in their way that evening, unlike now, when exposing and punishing Mandaar is their prime concern, specially Pallavi's.

But, certainly, it's up for interpretation because we rarely get Raghav and Pallavi's point of view in this show especially recent times they have cut down giving emphasis to Raghav and Pallavi as individuals and couple , they’re just there to fight off herd of negative characters and solving problems of their family , be it Deshmukhs or Kirti .

@bold - fact that he dreams about Pallavi who’s in red sari and not black dress.

Yes, I believe because of the nature of the gift and her expression at the anticipation of what was to come, they would have consummated the marriage if not for the keel.

Yes, it's up for interpretation because the makers don't give us too much insight into their feelings but in a way, I'm ok because it gives me the time to think about and feel for the characters. I love analysing their actions and intentions. That's fun too..

Also, yes about the dream, he sees her in a sari (even the black sari dream).

Yes, let's agree to disagree. I interpreted the scene different to yours and till we get an insight from Raghvi this is always subjective. Either way we are now getting the most awaited consummation (hopefully).

beautiful idea to have such a thread.. walking the memory-lane..

In AT of Sai it so happens we are sort of doing the same and perhaps we can combine some things.

From the scenes you have mentioned, the way you write, I think we can make something beautful together.

Not to pull anyone away from here - by no means - but would like to draw attention and request participation in creating something wonderful together.

please check it out and see if this is for you or not:
