Sunny isn't close to his parents, so even if Raghav had to maintain a relationship with them, he wouldn't have to accept Sunny. Sunny and Pallavi don't really interact either.

What story would you tell?

I feel Sunny and Pals are siblings separated. His mother might be telugu...and father punjabi. Of course this means on realizing Pals is his sister he redeems himself and supports Raghvi.
