Vijay sees it and gets all pissed off, Pallavi is distressed at his anger. Ayi notices it, pulls her aside and has her dye a sari using haldi. At the end of the process, the mehndi has faded, which was Ayi's intention all along. Pallavi tells her she needn't have been sneaky- she could have been upfront. Plus, she says her issues with Vijay don't need these little tricks.

Now, how I had interpreted this was that Ayi was clearly sensing Vijay's trust issues. She knew that there's nothing going on between RaghVi, but she knew Vijay is going all shaqi on Pallu. She took a very 'brush it under the carpet' approach to this. She removed the mehndi to avoid triggering Vijay, but didn't address the actual underlying problem- Vijay's mistrust. My feeling was that aisa hi chalta rahega, and while triggers may get reduced, the mistrust will keep simmering and build up until it one day explodes irreparably- which is what happened the night Pallu was ousted.

I have seen a lot of Mothers do this, in the end they truly know what will fly by their husbands. This is also the reason why sometimes these mothers end up being the bad guys in front of their kids but the real bad guys are somebody different.

But again till that time i always saw VD as a strict father not a dominating alpha male.

I won't speak for Parul or Sharda. My anxiety doesn't stem from thinking aage ka. I'm actually 100% sure ki ainvayi ka build up kar rahe hain, kuch major nahi hoga. It's what they're showing right now that I can't enjoy. Honestly, I'm all for Mandaar acting out whatever he wants to, because this creepy psycho vibes of 'planning' something, it doesn't work well for me. I'm very set on entertainment being an escape from life ke issues, so something disturbing like this, I'd like to avoid.

It's like Nidhi said, aise cheezon mein they should put trigger warnings because aage jo bhi hoga accha hoga, I have full faith it that, but today's episode was triggering for me. It's not overthinking, it's just a very visceral sense of being disturbed that lingers. And I just don't want to watch something that makes me feel like this, so just planning to skip a few epis, or at least Mandaar scenes for a bit.

It's honestly great screenplay and a great job by Ashok- we should be feeling disturbed by him. But I guess it's a little too effective on me. That's all.

Oh I absolutely underatand Ashi.. So far whatever they have shown with Mandhar is creepy obviously yes and it disturbs me to see women be in this position.. I guess I have watched a lot of similar content in the past..so I just watcj from story and performance point of view.. and lingering ka mauka nahi milta.. have so much on my plate right now.. Im almost never able to ponder on things after the episode ends.. I know you get a lot more emotionally invested.. and that's great..not every content is for everyone.. if it affects you so much.. skip few episodes but do keep coming to the forum k.. I know I am not always there.. but I do come in whenever I have time.
