Oh, yes that. That scene seems to be the basis of all speculations. I would love to know how you interpreted it ?
I wasn’t watching mhrw till then, I haven’t watched this scene till now. I just know this happened 😆
Ohhh you should definitely watch the scene. Here's what happens- Raghav's RR bracelet falls into bowl of mehendi. He pulls it out and it accidentally drags against Pallavi's palm, somehow leaving a perfect 'RR' imprint. Because physics isn't a thing. She wipes it off within seconds, but phir bhi rang gehra hai. Because chemistry isn't a thing either 😎
Vijay sees it and gets all pissed off, Pallavi is distressed at his anger. Ayi notices it, pulls her aside and has her dye a sari using haldi. At the end of the process, the mehndi has faded, which was Ayi's intention all along. Pallavi tells her she needn't have been sneaky- she could have been upfront. Plus, she says her issues with Vijay don't need these little tricks.
Now, how I had interpreted this was that Ayi was clearly sensing Vijay's trust issues. She knew that there's nothing going on between RaghVi, but she knew Vijay is going all shaqi on Pallu. She took a very 'brush it under the carpet' approach to this. She removed the mehndi to avoid triggering Vijay, but didn't address the actual underlying problem- Vijay's mistrust. My feeling was that aisa hi chalta rahega, and while triggers may get reduced, the mistrust will keep simmering and build up until it one day explodes irreparably- which is what happened the night Pallu was ousted.
