True. It is unfair. I also finished it quite early on. I would have not done it in my later years if I was asked to do that. I mean it makes no sense of doing the vrat to get a good husband. 😂 When I say fond memories, it was with friends as all of my girl friends used to do that and we do eating(one time in a day) and Jagran together. It was great and lots of fun. Plus not to forget the special treatment I was getting before and after the vrat at home 😛

Oh wow yes I agree that must have been so much fun, staying up doing jagraan with friends!!! We weren’t allowed sleepovers 😭 so even jagraans used to be SO long 😆 I used to watch SRK movies to stay awake.

But I must say I remember those days for almost good things, esp mum taking care of us and dad not scolding us coz we’re fasting. As kids, only that mattered 😆

Me too, if I was asked to do it later I’d be like nope talk to my hand 😛. To date, I ask my mum where my good husband is stuck 🤣no wonder, I see now why they made us do it when we couldn’t speak for ourselves 😆

Can you please elaborate? I was unable to understand what do you mean by mix. Mix of Marathi and Telugu culture? Raghav is native of Telangana.

Telangana is a region that was under Nizam’s influence so people say it’s kind of mixed with Urdu

like the slang is a little different, it’s Telugu only but with a bit of Urdu mixed in

What about the culture? Is it mixed with Marathi because you said mixed culture. Historically large portion of Telangana was under the Marathas for a long time.

No not Marathi

It’s not really mixed with Urdu culture either

Their food style is different from both, I would say their culture is unique not a mix of anything

but they have similar festivals to Andhra and Marathi people with different names that happen around the same time

So the Telugu culture part is same like Andhra but the language is different, Right? Anyway how is it similar to Marathi culture? Is it because Marathi culture is more inclined to South Indian culture?
