You brought up some good points - but I just don't think what they're showing is making Raghav appear dumb? Even at his most shrewd self, Raghav was a highly emotional person. In the beginning of the show, his emotions were primarily anger and that anger fueled a lot of his scheming.
In the Keerti-Sunny situation, once again Raghav's emotions overtook him and fueled his decision making. Except this time, the emotion wasn't anger.. it was love for his family and abandonment issues. All of these things are going to hinder someone's ability to clearly see the situation and prevent him from being as perceptive as he could've been if he weren't so emotionally invested/attached.
In the Keerti-Sunny situation - I just don't think its a slight to Raghav to show that Raghav didn't think of Sunny. I think although we saw Sunny, it could have been that Raghav didn't. I've been in a car accident at night, during a storm, you see less than you think you would when you're outside of your car and standing on the road. Plus, Raghav was on the driver's side, and Sunny on the opposite side. It could very well be the case that he never saw him. Now why didn't he think that his sister was covering for someone? I think it's as simple as he doesn't know his sister at all. I think he's naive when it comes to his sister - it didn't even cross his mind that his sister was dating Sunny for 2+ years. I don't think that makes him dumb , it's just his weakness/blindspot. To show Raghav always being on top of things would also have been just as unrealistic as showing Pallavi always being the one to solve all the problems.

It's a show & makers are gonna proceed with what they have in mind. I've said this time & again that just cos some members of the audience like Raghav more cos his traits & past were highlighted more in comparison to Pallavi's trauma of being a first-day widow doesn't mean that the show's just about Raghav.
We have to remember we are watching an ITV show & that too a StarPlus one. It's going to be a RaghVi show.
For some folks showing Raghav's scenes & situations matter more. I see it as the screenspace Pallavi wasn't given in terms of her emotional turmoil then, she's being given the screenspace now.
And Never will there be a show where each & every member of the audience will be satisfied because each person prefers different characters and attach themselves to different traits of that character too.
Some scenes even I agree weren't completely well-portrayed but I never found Raghav going to Deshmukh House the next day weird. Just the previous day, Pallavi was there for him to hear all the issues of his past and did not judge him (He's been told by his own mother that he should have been killed in her womb itself - and that's just cruel on so many levels). Pallavi listened to his entire story & even understood why he didn't reveal the truth about Krishna Rao even after knowing it completely.
Why would he not want to make sure this so trusting,innocent, lovely. girl has her so-called Family back which was taken away by his scheming means?
Keerthi & Sunny's matter was sorted according to him by giving Sunny the 5 crore check & Amma, Pallavi were managing Keerthi at home. Keerthi wasn't ready to talk to anyone, let alone Raghav then.
So he like the meticulous person he is, moved on to his next & then foremost important mission of helping Pallavi reconcile with her family. Infact, I liked how they showed that even after Milind called up Pallavi to tell her about the drama VD was doing, there was enough time due to the dialogue session between VD & Raghav to help us digest that Pallavi did take some time to reach the D-Nivas & took charge of the situation. It was her family, her Baba who was demeaning her Husband. She would be the one to shout & try to make them see reason.
In the end, Raghav & Pallavi are portraying a couple who are trying to learn from each other in many aspects of life as has been advised by their own close people. Amma always kept on telling Raghav that she wants Pallavi as his partner because he needs to learn some things from her while Amma also helps Pallavi in times of her turmoils. The mother-son are quite similar we have seen so some traits of Raghav'll automatically be adapted by Pallavi too.
