Oh really...which place are you from..I want to come there😄

The lady i was talked about didnt have kids when husband passed away. So I guess it was easy to break ties.

@bold: like Ashi keeps saying that for once, Pallavi deserves to be told that someone would make her their utmost priority and love her unconditionally. Raghav needs to tell her everything, not only a monologue. Ashu I know I keep telling everyone to be patient and they will get there, but I feel as strongly about this as you do. 😭 Not that Raghav hasn’t done lot many things for her and have made her a priority, but he needs to be expressive. She deserves to be made feel important,

And yes he needs to tell her everything, from start till end. How he felt- this I want to see on screen because I have so much ranting to do for everyone who said Raghav was never interested in Pallavi 😵😵 and during this conversation he should apologise for all the horrible things he did to her and give a well deserved explanation.

Parul 🤗

I know you feel strongly about this too yaar. I think the reason I talk about this so often is ki I've always been a believer of 'impact, not intent' and so I just want more initiative on Raghav's part that makes his intent explicit, and has the impact on Pallavi. She needs to know what he's feeling na? Sab kuch 'main har cheez bolta nahi' ke under nahi aa sakta, and I think he's also starting to learn it. Obviously, won't happen overnight, and we're here for the journey, as long as we eventually reach the destination.

And haan, humein gloating bhi toh karni hai!

It is like they are 2 pieces of the same heart - finding themselves complete only with the other and no other person can make them feel complete.

Brilliant ! Loved this ❤️🤗

I am shocked to hear this--although a pleasant shock that widows there are treated rightfully

@bold--this is something I have never heard? do you live in India?

These lot prefer RR with his sob story behind him...its the good girls like bad boys thing...add his separation with Amma and you got Savage and bechara RR for them.

I have seen a distant family member get widowed and they immediately sent her back, severed contact and got rid of her. This is the real society we live in. Bahu is bahu only till son is around...after that she is bojh. Worst they blamed his death on her. They dont care about twitter trends..they do care about another mouth to feed. They do care about what use the girl is of. Comparatively I found Deshmukhs very forward and compassionate..other than Sulo. They let her touch sindoor and haldi etv...they dont let widow ladies do that in our community. Its sad..but its truth. So I love it that the show brought light to these things. That RR felt it worth to spend his time and fight with Pals...is a testament to her grit.

Whether young or experienced, sympathy and kindness is a learned behaviour.

I would also like to add that they also let Jaya put Mehendi on her hands. She was in fact encouraged by women around her..that was also very refreshing.

+1

itna secure ki koi aa bhi jaaye toh bhi Pallavi should know that it’s her place only and Raghav won’t let anyone in!

It is so nice to hear it and all. But you don't have idea about how we're being made fun of and criticised for this culture of us. This system is followed only by Muslim community in my district. Everywhere else it's same patriarchal system.

that thing at the time made me wonder if Jaya can put Mehendi why didnt Pallavi

and the ironic fact of the show is that its name is mehendi hai rachewaali and yet FL hasnt applied henna on her hands yet

Exactly. Bingo. Also the whole ladies whiskey and red wine party the pulled...mil dil...awesome. Amma's character itself ..very strong. Aai too..loved it when she removed her mangalsutra and went after Palllavi the night she was thrown out. Each social injustice being called out and thrown..this show has been amaxing .
