TRP was at an all time low of 0.9 during the abortion track and same precap being shown for 3 weeks. The abortion track was the most irritating one, as something that could be finished off in 2-3 epis was dragged with no end, and Pallu was shown to be very very unreasonable with Raghav and D family - Raghav proved her innocence and she kept threatening him that he will pay for it, and D family questioned her character with Sulu being proved to cross all limits by framing Pallu in such a disgusting shadiyanthra and she kept supporting them and cursing Raghav! Beyond a limit, not many ppl can tolerate such unreasonable behaviors and must have quit the show at that time.
So in short, you give the audience what they love to watch, and you get the TRPs !
