Sometimes I just want to go there and give her back what she deserves... I wish life was fair to her. 💔

Anyways I am glad Raos are by her side and will give her all the happiness and respect. She deserves that and more. And in the mean time hopefully she learns to not be too blind in her dependence and love..

Seriously, this girl has gone through so much, it breaks my heart 😔💔 I will always keep rooting for her, over and over again. She doesn't know the first thing about self-love, and she's oblivious to it herself Can't wait for Raghav to make her see her own value in life ❤️

Jean, tried to tag you before but didn't work, trying again 🤞🏼

This one got buried in all the notifications but I accidentally found it!

I love what you've said here about the parallels between the two challenges. It tells you that for a change, they do have the character arcs and the storyline mapped ahead of time. At least, until now they haven't just made up tracks for the sake it of it, bar the changes due to COVID, but they've tried to make sure everything folds into the overarching narrative.

What Raghav said did not surprise me because we know how strict he is about his principles. Amma releasing him from his fear of losing her helped bring out what he wanted to do and say deep down. He wants to change not for her per se, but to use this as a defining moment in his life where he chose to consciously start not just fixing his mistakes but also ensuring that he doesn't make further ones, that he remains highly conscious of the consequences of his words and actions going forward, and that he understands the concept of consent before meddling in people's lives. He did, however, fail to an extent in the latter, i.e. taking Mandaar's name to get her attention because the shrewdness in him knew that was a last resort that he had to opt for. I get it.

Pallavi set him straight, he apologized, and they moved on, but he did register that talking about Mandaar brought her pain, that she was still completely devoted to him and his memories, and that she had put him on a pedestal.

One thing we need to remember, and appreciate, is that no matter how much Raghav tries to mend his ways, there are parts of his core character that will remain unchanged. His ego and extremely high level of self-confidence are going to be battered when he realizes that he does in fact feel competitive for the position being the number one love of Pallavi's life, that he cannot win against a late Mandaar who's been immortalized not just in Pallavi's heart and mind, but also the Deshmukhs'. The other thing to remember is that when the time comes and they are more at ease sharing their feelings and thoughts with each other, the no-go zone of Mandaar and Pallavi's feelings for him, will bother Raghav more and more. He will respect her and not want to broach the topic, but the fact is that until they speak about it and settle it, Mandaar's place in their lives will forever be an invisible hurdle to surmount.

Unlike Raghav, Pallavi, by nature, doesn't express her emotions, which is why her outburst when she asked Raghav to strangle her, and then when he tried to stop her leaving, created such an impact on Raghav. This is a new facet of hers that he hadn't been privy to, because let's face it, they still don't know each other that well. The soulmate connection is developing slowly, these are baby steps. When they are able to be open with each other, they cannot have anything of the past getting in the way, otherwise the scope for misunderstandings and inability to have faith that they do have a good future together, will destroy their fledgling bond.

Don't know if this makes sense. I'm nowhere near as articulate as you are, Bee but I just wanted to share what's on my mind.

But that convo made him realise how little the challenge meant to her... she was still planning to leave after 30 days. Even amma wasn't too sure he could do it. Came as a little shock to Raghav, which I loved.

It also definitely was a blow to his self-confidence, a la there's nothing Raghav Rao can't do if he puts his mind to. Humbling experience for him, the result of which we see in how much effort he's putting in with D-fam but also ensuring he doesn't upset Pallavi further. He's also drawing on his own experiences of being alienated from his family, and for the first time we see him actually have empathy for her.

Loved that smile on Raghav's face, such a content look! ❤️

I am also looking forward to her doing a countdown. Would like it if she marks a calendar or something, where he sees her crossing out the dates and each day becoming a nightmare for him as the month closes out.

I want him to realize the extent to which she neglects herself. I don't think he has seen how bad it is. It started with him scolding her for being careless at the pool and not thinking about her own safety, and I bet the more he sees it the more protective he will get. The way he lifted her from the pool and saw the fear in his eyes triggered his protectiveness right way. I can't wait to see it grow further.

Jean, so glad to see you comment 🤗 I thought you didn't find this post worth discussing 🥺

Him wanting to change for Pallavi really got to me because like he said, this was the guy who didn't change himself even for amma. He has always known what kind of man amma wanted him to be, he was just too insistent on having her accept him the way he is (which isn't wrong, but deserves a separate discussion). He said he'd do anything to gain her approval, but somehow he always stopped short of making any real efforts. But for Pallavi, he is truly willing to do whatever it takes... he is that desperate. I think it stems from the fact that he is truly responsible here for everything she holds him responsible for, whereas in case of amma he has been misunderstood. His urge to make amends is much fiercer here. And yes, I love that whatever he said, it had nothing to do with keeping amma with him... it was all for Pallavi, only her.

But I agree, this incident is a lesson he'll want to remember. He had a lot of pride in himself, in his sense of judgement... it's a shock to him that he committed such a grave mistake unknowingly, and he'll take care not to repeat it in future. Especially with Pallavi, but also in general, I hope he learns to be a more cautious person. We know the businessman in him acts with a lot of thought put in first, so there's no reason why the rest of him should be so reckless. But I'd be lying if I said I don't want him to retain at least some of that recklessness 😆 It makes him real ❤️ The emotional part of him will always remain that way... passionate and impulsive 😍

@bold: This whole paragraph is my thoughts exactly. I wanna see an uncomfortable Raghav, doubting if he can ever reach up to Mandaar, wishing to discuss it with Pallavi but wondering if reminding her will only take her further away from himself. I wanna see him get all squirmish 😈

Jean, the only time you didn't make sense in this whole post was when you thought you weren't making sense 😆 I love your comments! 🤗 I had actually quoted you back in a number of posts, was wondering why you weren't replying I'm glad you managed to find at least this one among your notifs 😆

The empathy is totally visible in his eyes, especially when she is having her moments with aai. How ironic it must feel to him, that in getting his own mother back he separated her from hers 🥺 The mother who refused to consider him her son is now living with him, while the mother who had wholeheartedly accepted Pallavi as her daughter is now refusing to talk to her 🥺

Like many times before, you reminded me of Zain-Aliya from Beintehaa. The two had a hate marriage, and the guy was maintaining a calendar countdown of 30 days or something, in which he would throw her out of his life. The girl had taken up the same countdown to teach him some values (and lessons 😆). By the end of 30 days, they had mellowed down and she realised that he was a good person who didn't deserve to suffer in her hands. She decided to leave, we got a fantastic train station scene and they decided to throw away the calendar 😆
