For me, the whole food poisoning issue should be cleared up at some point. You see, he was impressed by her observing her as Ramaswamy. She did not know Raghav and his money was involved. And he got to see a glimpse of her, which he liked.

He had misunderstood her, just like the world had misunderstood him. He had no faith in people or any woman / love interest. They all care for money anyway.

So once that is cleared up, the blinds fall from his eyes, and he can allow himself to act on their attraction and pursue that.

Now at this point it seems that it would be too soon.
