Apne biwi se kaun itne din dur rehta hai that too when he loves her so much. No matter what Sai jaaps, she never stopped him from getting close to her. She never felt awkward when she tripped and fell into his arms, she never stopped him from almost kissing her during 1st holi and many other times after that. Infact I felt she wanted physical intimacy so that she could once and for all keep Her out of the picture. Despite what popular talks is, Sai isn't TRP Queen as you claimed. Virat's missions and his centric track always scored highest TRP. Pre leap when Sai was in hospital and all the episodes revolved around Virat's behavior and other's behavior toward him, it scored 3.7

I second you, Andy..Many solo Sai stans, weren't agreeing, but the fact proved that #Saiya promo tanked down S1, the promo of Sai's marriage with Satya & butchering of Virat's character for SAIYA build-up, drastically reduced Ghum's trp rating as it was evident, TRPs were continuously reducing ever since that infamous promo aired

No audience had the heart to take such a prolonged heartbreaking torturous separation of SAIRAT, already they had enough with that Pakhi didi, they tolerated didi, becz audience knew she was a vamp and one-day she would lose & SAIRAT would reunite, but this time with SAIYA around, they had bleak hopes, becz they sensed that Ghum was going in Kasauti Zindagi KI 1's direction- star-crossed lovers.

So, they got sick & tired & decided to QUIT once & for all. Audience, fully realized that this PH only gonna serve them toxicity, people only tuned back, when they got assured that, at least their fav couple SAIRAT is dying togetherbetter than going through the pain of watching them with different partner time & again

Since I saw the show after it ended on air, I am not sure about the trps but I agree I was extremely disappointed with Saiya marriage track. I just couldn't believe they actually went with it. But I actually liked that they butchered Sai's characterization to level with Virat during that track because for most of the show, they always compromised Virat to show Sai as mahaan and it was really annoying me. I liked that for once they brought both of them on the level field and then the show ended.. I liked their ending to be honest. I don't feel they would have ever stayed happy together. It was the best ending for their characters.

I am sure about that decline, because I witnessed it first-hand. I was there in that forum, and there was a great hue & cry about that....Maximum TRP & online audience, i.e public rejected SAIYA. Audience just couldn't take it any more

And, I'm telling you, had the TRPs not reduced and instead increased, then the ending would've been different, becz makers did full-fledged planning to make Virat a psychotic abuser, by butchering him left & right & making SAI more mahaan FL & SAIYA the endgame, it was so obvious that time

I too think, that was a perfect ending to Ghum S1, becz SAIRAT were 2 mighty egoistical people, their huge, fat ego & miscommunication wouldn't have let them stay happily together for long, they would separate again, after a while, becz of some petty fight. So, yeah, perfect ending for #SAIRAT

Dekho yaar Virat was clear about his feelings from the start and tried to confess many times from ladakh trip till MB but Sai always created problems not him....over to it always doubted his relation with Pakhi when he was always clear.....Virat always addressed Sai as wife and indirectly stated his feelings many times along with one sided love for years.....when Sai never reciprocated....

So definitely blame goes to her....what all you wrote na was because Virat did thousands of things for her that's why she allowed for some areas otherwise......

(I still remember when Virat was about to get back from Sada mission how Sai was like let Virat confess the feelings when she understood she was wrong about him by DIG sir- it was her arrogant nature only, she wanted everything ready for her ultimately makers burnt her ego out and she confessed even apologised for the first time in show after Shruti.....)

I think trp audience is very very different than online....they change views as per whatever shown but Haan they apply some logic too biggest reason for failure of Saiya was kids.....even before Sairat- I don't think so Indian audience can take a mother(or even a father) choosing a third man over children and that too just as revenge and no real feelings involved.....it comes out cringe

Saiya was just opposite of Virakhi.....Virat had went through suicidal history in 7years he never moved on when had very reason for it, lost son, wife(family)and never got to see his daughter over to that Sai came with a child- who was the father he didn't know plus JT stalking her everywhere things went in a mess till Vinu's truth came out.....for me Sai pushed Virat away by not showing her feelings to him for so long and makers have planned everything as per trp so either Virat was reacting or was getting emotionally blackmailed in conditions.....but the same thing unfortunately can't be said for the former one.....

There were other problems too like Satya's characterization he became a homewrecker and was weird with behaviour plus Pakhi who left as bechari when Vinu was connected to her in the course of mahaanta they lost sense, Virat was behaving like pyschic but his blind love was acceptable infact Sai playing victim in the name of Vinu and Ashwini came out wrong because everyone knew even Virat that peons weren't wrong talking non sense about Saiya.....

For me ending was neither happier nor sad ..... because Sairat died together but on what cost and kids lost everything.....
