Update for Wednesday, Sept 16, 2009:

Boopathy is sitting and talking to the doctor about his heart condition. Doctor advises him not to travel alone in future, to take his medicines regularly and to take up meditation to reduce stress. He asks the doctor how much longer he can expect to live and the doctor says he has no answers to that question.

Angu and Amudha are talking about Saravanan. Angu says that she came to know that Saravanan and Kanmani used to care for each other, and Amudha is upset. Angu clarifies that it was by accident that she heard them talking and she knows that Saravanan has only akkarai for Kanmani now, no more kaadhal, they have no such feelings any more. Moreover, she feels that if Kanmani and Boopathy now have children and live happily, Saravanan will also eventually agree to getting married. Kanmani is listening to all this from the background.

Boopathy takes Saravanan to his friend who arranges for people to get jobs overseas. He agrees to find some suitable job for Saravanan, and asks him to drop off his CV later.

Megala and Keerthana are looking at the jewelry and then Megala gives her ring to Keerthana and says that it is her gift. Keerthana is moved. Thilaga is watching all this and she is in tears. Paati wants to know what is happening and she says she is upset because Megala is still not married and all her younger sisters are getting married. She is also reminded of her husband and how happy he was at Sakthi's marriage, and she wonders what will happen if he returns and asks why she got Sezhiyan and Keerthana married without his presence. Paati says that will not happen, and she says she has a feeling that two good things will happen soon, Megala will get married and Kalai will return and he himself will give away Megala.

Samy outside some building that is being constructed. Megala comes out and asks if the shipment has arrived. Viswa's friend, Suresh, comes to see her and asks her to go and talk to Viswa directly to clear up all the misunderstandings. She agrees and goes with him. Anbu arrives and asks Samy where is Megala. He tries to avoid giving a reply and then tells him about her leaving with Suresh. Anbu seems cool about it and goes into the building and Samy is wondering why he hasn't yet thrown a temper tantrum.

Update for Thursday, Sept 17, 2009:

Anbu goes to Megala's house. Paati and Thilaga welcome him. He sits with a long face so they ask him what's wrong, and he tells them about Megala going to see Viswam. P and T are both upset, T talks about the sathiyam she made, and Anbu tells them not to "get tension". They ask him to talk to Megala about this, and to play the cassette, but he says she will not like it, and it will not be nice for him to talk to her. He adds that he knows that Megala is innocent in all this, but he doesn't trust Viswam. Anyway, finally he "agrees" to talk to her for Thilaga's sake.

Sakthi and Diwa at home. The baby is crying, Sakthi asks him to hold the baby while she boils the milk and gets it ready. Does she boil the milk only after the baby starts crying? Is this the first time she is feeding the baby after bringing him home? Even 50 years back, when my sister was born, it took about 5 minutes only for my mother to get the milk ready. Has she not heard of infant formula? Diwa wants to know why the baby is crying, wonders if it was bitten by some bug, or maybe he is hot. She says she has checked all that and then he starts about how it would be useful to have some older family members with them at this time so that they will be able to tell them why the baby is crying. Of course, she doesn't want to hear all this and keeps telling him that it will only create more problems. The poor baby continues to cry while they are arguing about this, finally she tells him to put the baby down and go to work and she will manage by herself. The idiot actually puts down the crying baby, tells him not to cry and leaves! They are a perfect pair of idiots.

Megala and Suresh come to meet Viswa. Megala starts off with a monolog about kaadhal, how they have loved each other from the tender age of 10, how they have always loved each other, and yet there are so many misunderstanding now between them. Finally, Suresh has the sense to tell her that now that she has done all the talking, it is time for her to listen to Viswam. Btw, does he not have the sense to make himself scarce? On the other hand, he has more sense that Megala and can see through her idiocy. Finally, Viswa tells her that if she truly feels that way for him, she should go to the temple and he will tie the thali, but she must not see or talk to Anbu after that. Immediately, Megala accuses him of being jealous once again and advises (!!) him to get rid of it and asks what he will do if he is out of town and will he be suspicious of her? Suresh tries to reason with her, saying that she wants V to get rid of his jealousy but she is not ready to give up seeing Anbu for him. Megala of course, refuses to see the reasoning there and leaves in a huff. The camera freezes on Viswa.

Update for Wednesday, Sept 23, 2009:

A white car is coming down the street. Karuna's mother gets down and goes to the store to get something. Kalai is seen in the next store. A pichakari asks for pichai and K's mother gives her Rs. 5. Karuna is watching from the car, and he gets down and taunts his mother for giving away what he and his father have earned (ippadi oru son irukkaradhukku sons illama iruppadhe better!) and tells her to go and get the money back and then get into the car. The poor woman goes back to the pichaikkari and asks her to return the money. Kalai is watching all this and is horrified. Someone comes and asks him what's the matter, and he tells him what just happened. The guy says that's the owner's son who is getting married, and Kalai feels sorry for the girl who is going to marry this unfeeling person.

Thilaga serves coffee to Athai, then to Paati, and then to Megala who is brooding over the past. She tells Megala she is going to do her duty as a mother and get her married to Anbu, along with Keerthana's marriage. Athai comes in and pokes her nose and says not to ruin Keerthana's wedding, as the inlaws may not like it. She says she will go with Thilaga and speak to Anbu, and goes with Thilaga. Megala protests feebly.

Danda's house. Everyone wants to know where Saravanan is, and Bhupathy says that he is staying with a friend. Angu tells B to go and get him back, and B says he will come back in his own time. Thamira wants to know where S will be going and B tells her it is to Yemen, which she thinks is Yaman! Then she wants to know if there will be prostitutes there also and gets told off by Bhupathy.

Anbu's house. Thilaga and Athai come there, Athai tells Samy he is a servant in that house (I didn't quite understand the word she used, but I think this is what she meant) and Samy tries to explain that he is a friend and a staff member at work, but Athai is firm. In the meantime, Anbu comes in. Thilaga tells Anbu that she is there to discuss his marriage with Megala. Samy is listening, stunned. Anbu looks like the cat that has been licking the cream. Thodarum ....

Recap from yesterday... Athai says tilaga wanted to say something... Tilaga says we decided to get you & Megala married and why should we postpone it..
Maniac says why suddenly
Tilaga says that viswam came to home...
Maniac face changes... Swamy jalara says that viswam can get PHD in doing all kind of unwanted activities...
athai adds fuel to the fire.. viswam oru ale illai... poiyum poiyum megala intha viswathaiya kathalikkanam..
all this while maniac gives his maniac smile...
Tilaga says we will do the wedding immediately... maniac is all smile.. pallalam vai... vaiyellam pallu...
athai fumes... immediately says before maniac answers that nalla yosichu pathil sollunga...
maniac is all in fire now.. now athai says there are lots of work for keertana's marriage ...
ontop of that megs is in all confusion.. in this confused stage what will happen...
and athai starts her example of what happened in sakthi's marriage...Sakthi ran with diwakar...
athai says that with all confusion if megs take some wrong decision then what will happen..
maniac and tilaga are all shocked...now athai does some more of talking saying where will megs go.. where will anbu thambi go...
lets first get keertha marriage done then do megs...
maniac boom boom madu aatum thalaiya attarathu...
athai has all smile in her face that she achieved her goal;)
swami comes with juice and anbu says why it took so long for this juice....
athai says you need to keep the servant in that place...
finally athai and tilaga goes and anbu closes the door... swami does his jalara by saying that you should be
careful with this athai...
maniac nods yes... by saying tilaga wanted me to get married to megs on the same day as keerthana but see she stopped....
anbu fumes now that athai won't allow this wedding to happen properly between me & megs...

Sara is packing his stuff.... loosumani sees this from outside his room... now comes inside sara's room and says
that looks like u r packing ur stuff....
sara yes don't u see that.. yes packing... and loosu says that there 1 more month to go to foriegn.. but why so soon packing..
sara says he is going to mansion and staying with hi sfriends... and does his polambal.... all pazhya nianivu...
and then some more polambal on getting bad name etc..
now loosu starts her lecture.... namba enna palavarushama kathalichom?? ithu mathiri urugi urugi pesarathuku..
now loosu says that it is all past... ur bro and my sis were supposed to be married... all time I got with moron...
if u r practical guy then u should have put a fullstop and go ahead with ur fmly life.... now sara
says that if u have lived happily with my brother then I would have stopped this...
moron is standing outside.. as soon as she sees moron outside she is stuck with no words...
now moron's turn to ask what happened... loosu says she told sara not to go and he listend to it...
moron says good.. unpack ur stuff and then go pray to god afte rtaking shower ;)
