Monday 17/8/09 Episode No 556

Starts with Megs confronting maniac about his intentions.
With due apologies to Jagdu - this woman can not use her
hands judiciously , needs lessons on that - big time !!!
Maniac looks all calm and asks Megs - "forget what I told
your mom. Even after all that demeaning done by Viswa,
do u still love him?" Megs is livid. Shouts back -" that
is between me and Viswa. We are childhood sweet hearts.
Nothing or no one will dare separate us, catch my point?"
Now maniac prooves his brilliance - tells Megs that her mom
was agitated and wanted to settle Megs asap - " i thought
about it and then said yes, only to save you. if i had refused, she
would have gone full blast and found some mokkai or sollai
as your groom. Would have done some emotional blackmail and
forced u to agree !!! But now, I call the shots. I can postpone this wedding
for 6 months and by that time, u can reconcile with Viswa !!"
Megs the frog, believes this explanation and apologizes - nth time.

Danda household - talk about Sara's wedding. Angu and Amutha have
seen a girl and want Sara to marry. Rest of the clan also approves.
But Sara does not want to marry - ever. Moron says that Sara has
a girl in mind - Angu quickly refutes -" ya, he did have some one in
mind but that girl is married now.." Sara leaves the arena and the rest
pledge to hook him up - by hook or crook.

Megs meets maniac and asks for permission -" I better meet Viswa and
clear out things. If he comes to know that u accepted to marry me, things
can be more nasty. " Maniac immediately agrees and after Megs leaves
gives Roja a smile -" avanga thaan vera veedu pOittangale.." He then
calls Ram, the PD and gets to know the latest about Viswa -that Viswa
bought a new recording device. Bingo- Viswa calls and tells maniac that
he is ready for negotiation - "u better have Megs the frog..give me money..
let us discuss in detail ...meet me at such and such point.." Maniac agrees.
Samy comes in and wants to know the latest. Maniac says that he is meeting
Viswa - " deal kku poren.." Tells the camera " Viswa nee jithan nna
na jithanukku jithan da.."

Episode No 557 Tuesday 18/8/09

Kirtana and karuna are having some tender coconut water.
There is a child - the same one who was brought to their house -
who smiles at Karuna and calls him "appa" .Karuna is livid and
gives a "if looks could kill" look at the man who holds the child -
the same guy who brought the child and asked for money - The
man drags the child and goes away. Kirtana asks for details -
"hello, u the father?" Karuna is trained well by his dad - knows
exactly how to con the Megs' pea brained clan - tells her that
the father of the child could resemble him - " why do u want to
waste time on trivia?" ( amma di, Kirtana wake up, ok?? If u
marry this guy, u need to deal with his baggage !! And not just
that!!! U can never sit in your life - ever !!)

Lachu is arranging things - Viswa's friend is helping. Lachu laments
about Viswa - " nee avan friend, u are helping me and the
only son who is supposed to help me is gone !!! Do not know
where he is !!!! Must be running behind that Megs - unless he does
away with that woman, his life will never be ok.." The friend says
that he will do the needful -" first avanukku oru job, apram can settle
him, ok?" Lachu says that it is all very nice to hear - " hmmm nadakkuma?"

Megs arrives at Lachu's old house - sees that it is locked. Looks
around for some info and the house owner arrives. Informs her that
her athai has moved house - "intha letter aiyum, money yaiyum
un kitte kudukka sonnanga. Enna problem? " Megs is in a hurry to
read the letter and so ignores the gossip monger house owner.
The letter is written by Lachu - says that they have had enough of
Megs Saga - "first instalment is here. We will pay u back everything
soon. We are done with you and so please stay off Viswa " Megs does
the one thing that Kalai family is adept at - cries ( RKO kku amma
varalai..solo thaan ..veet le pOi paarthukkalaam ) The house owner
still has hopes of prying out some gossip but Megs is busy crying.
Tilaga calls. Megs lies - "naa office le than irukken ma.." Tilaga
wants some silver stuff for the baby - QBS and the baby are soon
going to the other house!! Half way through the call Megs looses
connection - battery is dry. So, goes in search of a pay phone. In
the mean while Tilaga calls the office and is told that Megs went
out. Tilaga the smart mother gets wind of Megs' clandestine trips.
Well, Megs the frog calls and tries to continue the conversation but
Tilaga NEEDS to know the whereabouts. Megs has no option but to
say "came looking for Viswa and Co" Tilaga shouts at her and asks
her to come home. The rest of the clan is asked to keep off -" today
when I reprimand Megs, I do not want any of u supporting her,got it??"
The clan gets ready for a show down and a RKO, may be??

COD's house - Durga chides Sadasivam for playing pigeon of peace
once again -" veeramaa pOninga?? ange pOi white flag?" Sadasivam
says that they need to think of COD - "shouting and antagonizing QBS
will only make our COD suffer more !!!" Durga the omnipotent/present
knows exactly why the Tilaga clan is sending QBS back -" Kirtana and
Megs kku kalyanam varathu. So, people might question the presence of
QBS, athaan " ( yen arivu kozhunthe, QBS has just delivered !! amma veet
le irukkarathu justified thaane??) Pushpa is watching all this - "aha ha
marupadi oru lage lage with QBS...aiyyyaaaa jolllyyyy" Sadasivam says
that he wants peace at home - " for the sake of our grandson, u need to
adjust Durga.." Durga snorts...Pushpa makes a note ..goes to chithi
and says " antha QBS kku semai kozhuppu chithi.." ( yethO ennale aana kaingaryam,ungalukku kOmbu seevi vidaren.." ) Durga is
already planning - "Pushpa vai oru 10 naal thanga sollalaama?? konjam
support irukkum..QBS ai oru pidi pidikkalaam.."

Episode No 558 Wednesday 19/8/09

Maniac meets Viswa and foils his plan. Talks as if he is interested
in getting Megs united with Viswa. Leaves a stunned Viswa and leaves.
Maniac goes to his car and calls Viswa - says that he is always one
up on Viswa - " take the money and leave. I know every move of yours.
Like you, I have recorded our conversation. You cant play yours to Megs but
I can play my recording, gotchaa??" Viswa is vexed and wonders
if maniac has some one following him.

Megs the frog tries to enter the house like a thief - maniac times
it to land exactly - wants to play the recording to Tilaga. But is
shocked to see Megs the thief. Ofcourse the frog croaks some more -
spills all - tells maniac that Tilaga has come to know her stealthy
visit to Viswa's house. Maniac is brimming with ideas , of course.
Tells her " tell your mom that u went to tell Viswa that u are done
with him - no more relationship with you" - Megs is happy to hear
the great idea and accepts to execute that. Maniac refuses to come
inside the house - '" avasara velai, ippo thaan ninaivu vanthathu"

Megs goes in - Tilaga shouts about Megs loosing her self respect -
" keep going back to some one who does not respect you??!!"
Megs vomits maniac's words and shows the letter written by Lachu.
Tilaga shouts some more and asks Megs to " drown her head"
(thalai muzhugu😳) Megs does the Kalai family avocation - cries.

Ganesan - atlast Roja got the name of the tea shop owner - comes
along with Tyson to Karuna's house. Karuna and Balu are talking about
samalichufying Kirtana. Ganesan comes and praises Balu to the skies -
"all my vazhvu is because of u" - Balu tells him thatkaruna is getting married.
Ganesan is given the nitty gritty details -" ponnukku appa kadan burden
thaanga me odittaru... akka is supporting the family..." Tyson happily
intervenes -" u seem to be so rich and why do u want a Odi ponanvan's
daughter?" Ganesan silences him. Tells Balu that his first son came to the shop
and took 500 rs - "paavam muthalali avar" . Tyson and ganesan leave. Balu
draws aside Ganesan and asks about Tyson - Ganesan gives the
life history. Balu is thoughtful -" have seen this face some where..!!! can not
recall..."

Loosumani convincing Sara - tells him that the girl whom he loved
has married and gone -" u keep thinking about her and u will miss
the life ... and if u keep thinking about that girl and refuse to marry,
that girl would be very upset too !!! If u really love someone all u
need to do is to let them be happy...I have told u what I had in mind"
goes off. Moron says that Loosu is right and Sara should marry his
mom's choice.

Lachu is waiting - angry that Viswa is absconding. Viswa comes
and Lachu accuses him about meeting Megs. Viswa goes in.
friend follows and pries out info. Viswa talks about his plan and
how it got foiled -" I think maniac has some one following me !!"
For his part, maniac plays the tape to Samy and explains -
"he wanted to trap me but I reversed the situation !!! " Asks samy
to get the laptop so that he can load the audio in it. Samy asks
"maari maari love panringale, is it worth it??" Maniac fumes -
" my love for Megs is worth the world !!!"

Tilaga and Paatti are back from shopping - things for the
punyagavasanam, things for the baby et al. COD comes ,
says a customary hello to MIL and goes to see his baby.
As he is cootchi cooing with the baby, gets a call from the
office - asking him to come for a meeting. QBS knows
exactly how to switch off COD -" meeting at 10 O' clock??
baby has to be taken to the hospital??!!!" COD just stares..

Episode 560 Friday 21/8/09

QBS telling COD - "baby has to be taken to the hospital??" COD is vexed
and tells QBS that she can ignite an iceberg -" but I am not going to
fight you. Get ready, we will go the hospital.." QBS rubs salt to the wound -
"appo meeting?" COD says "nasama pogattum. I will beg and postpone..."
Goes out and QBS has a disappointed look "che , intha COD bait ai bite
pannalai?? Or moochu sandai potta , I would have slept peacefully !!!"

Danda household - ore jolly - Future FIL of Sara is visiting. Tams is all made
up - Gujjju style sari, make up, jewels...works. Sara looks like inji thinna
aadu - The policeman comes. All are introduced. Photos are exchanged.
The name of the girl is Jansi Rani. Tams wants to know if she can ride a
horse. Policeman says that his daughter does not ride a horse but
- "veera maana ponnu.unnai mathiri thuru thuru nnu iruppa.." Tams is mightily
pleased.

Megs the frogs - at work. As usual goes in to maniac's cabin. Maniac is smart
to pry out info. Megs says that she lied to her mom about "head drowning"
Viswa -"am worried that the repercussions could be dangerous." Maniac says
that it is just between her and him -" only we both know about this lie, I wont
misuse it..so why bother?" Asks Megs -" veet le yaar irukka" Megs says that
only paatti and Tilaga. Maniac decides to pay a visit and play the tape....

Episode 561 Monday 24/8/09

Starts with maniac deciding to visit Tilaga and play the tape.
Send Megs on some official errands..has a look at the tape
and smiles... Danda household - Jhansi Raani's dad calls and
loosu picks up - says that his daughter likes Sara - " pls inform your
household about this and let me know if Sara likes her. Then
we can go ahead." Loosu is overjoyed to hear the good news.
Just then Sara comes down and Loosu updates. Sara is morose
and Loosu lectures - " forget the past... and if u accept all will
be happy...esp. me.." ( athu sari nee thaan thyaga sudar ,,ellarum apdiyaa??
avanai yen pottu surandare??? u cant run your life properly and
now u want to run his??? loosu ..loosu) The rest of the clan comes..
all goad Sara who finally accepts. Loosu heaves a sigh of relief.

Viswa is brushing his teeth - some fellow is near his compound wall and
keeps peeping inside - in fact jumps and looks inside the compound
wall. Viswa gets all worked up and decides that it is the spy sent by
maniac. Goes and manhandles the man. That guy is the association
president of that area !!! Tries to tell Viswa that he is searching for his
puppy but Viswa is beyond caring !!! He is bleeding and angrily vows to
see Viswa one hand. Lachu and dhadi come to take Viswa in and dhadi is
vexed -" as it is u are on bail and u bring in more problems??" Lachu
cries as usual " yen pullai..voo hooo boo"

Tilaga household - one of those rare light moments. Talk about the
baby's punyagavasanam. Tilaga hesitatingly informs COD that they
have to invite moron for the function. COD says that he has forgotten
the past -" call him, I have no problems.." he becomes the maamiyaar
and paati mechiya marumagan and QBS beams. Tilaga also decides to
call Balu, Karuna and co. Tilaga wants to know the invitee list from
COD - " unga side??" COD says to call Pushpa -" just a call over the
phoneis enough. She will any waycome" ( athu sari, Durga kku voice
support, idea support avanga thaane?? Sandai varuthu sandai varuthu
words kondu vaa , Pushpa in thiru vayile .. - BG by Roja) Viswa goes back
to kambi counting - well not exactly there - pre -operative ward - police
station. The fellow who was beaten has complained. Lachu does
some more "yen pullai" crying - poor dhadi is sent behind sonny boy...

Episode 562 Tuesday 25/8/09

Mission accomplished - Paatti and Tilaga are alone .Maniac
lands with the tape and plays it. Tilaga jumps as usual -
intha amma moolai yai pawn pannittanga !!! - Maniac says that
Megs should never know this -" I do not want her to feel guilty.
As i am going to marry her, I do not want that as a rebound
marriage..." drips milk and honey. Paatti sings maniac ashtothram -
" Megs loved some one.... u still agreed to marry her..not just that..
u do not want her to feel guilty... nee mahaan.." - uh huh - maniac
has that wicked gleam... turns to face the double goats -
" not a word to Megs, ok??" Tilaga says that her blood boils -
" let us hurry the marriage and do not erase the tape, ok?" Maniac
leaves.

Viswa gets dharma adi in the police station - the association
president is sitting and watching the tamasha. Dhadi lands,
gets to see sonny boy beaten black and blue. Association
president for his part makes fun of dhadi's upbringing.
Inspector is unrelenting. A constable draws dhadi aside and says
that 25, 000 rs will work wonders - " bring it soon, if the inspector
looses patience..then he will file the case.." Dhadi is agape -
"25, 000 rs aaa???" Constable says that dhadi is lucky to
release sonny boy for a song !!!

Dhadi calls Megs - who is working for a change - dhadi updates
Megs and says that he needs money to release sonny boy - " I am
ashamed to ask you but we know no one in this place.." Megs
says that she will come with the money. First she decides it keep
this info off from maniac. Calls Anitha and is told that she is away for
2 days. Finally goes to maniac and tells him the news. Maniac is angry
that Megs has established contact with Viswa and Co. But
gets the cash and offers to go by himself. Megs says that she has
to see Viswa and so wants to go along. Maniac is not very happy
about that but agrees to take her along

Episode 563 Wednesday 26/8/09

Well both COD and his dad ( aha ha Roja enna rhyming???
konnutte pO😳) inform Durga that moron and co are invited
for the function. Pushpa gets a chance to kombu seevify -
Tells Durga that moron tried to kill COD - " manushana
porantha rosham konjam vendamaa??? Past ellam maranthu
ttu ipdi pesaraanga??? OK, but did they consult you on this???
aammmaaaa consult pannittalum..." Durga is all keyed up -
labels hubby and son as mahathmas - " naming ceremony
annikki irukku di yoyyyy.." Pushpa is happy.. makes a mental
note to grab the vantage seat - "function annikki correct aa
chithi pakkathile ukkanthu points eduthu kudukkanum.."

Maniac and Megs come to the police station to release Viswa.
Dhadi is sitting in a corner and crying... Well, maniac gives the
money and Viswa gets released. Maniac advises Viswa -
("porumai ennum nagai aninthu perumai kolla vendum Viswam.."-
BG by Roja ) Viswa gets all worked up and shouts at Maniac -
" u have engaged some one to shadow me, right??' Maniac
does a sob drama - appeals to Megs " see, I bring the money and
come running to release him..and he is...." Megs asks Dhadi to
take Viswa home and walks towards maniac's car. Maniac follows,
turns back and winks at Viswa. Viswa gets more angry, manhandles
maniac. The police inspector comes out running and doles out dharma
adis to Viswa. Maniac is benevolent - asks the inspector to leave
Viswa -" he is mentally depressed.." Megs frets and offers to take
maniac to the doctor... maniac has other plans, I guess.

Danda household - Jhansi Rani calls and wants to talk to Sara . Loosu
picks up the phone and passes it to Sara. Loosu is nearby - cutting veggies.
Jhansi talks to Sara - " saw your photograph... I like u... did u see
my snap?? like me??" Sara gives all one word answers -
keeps looking at Loosu who is closeby ( Loosu nnu nick kuduthathu
sarithaan. Avan GF kooda pesarane, namba thalli pOvOm nnu buthi illiye??)
Jhansi is smart - realizes that Sara has company -promises to call
later. Maniac and Megs with the doctor - maniac gets treated. Megs
apologizes for Viswa and wants maniac to keep this confidential -
' as it is my mom is angry with Viswa....if she comes to know that
he was the one who took care of you.... vera vinaiye vendam.." Maniac
cringes .. seeing Megs melting for Viswa but promises to keep
this info away from Tilaga and Co.. Well, who is privy to this info..
Athai ...she is listening to all this from a distance.... Maniac , no sweat
man, she will make your job easy...ensoyyyyyyyyyyy

Episode 564 Thursday 27/8/09

Starts with Megs requesting maniac to keep the news off
Tilaga and athai over hearing this info. Barges in and
kusalam vicharichufies - " Anbu thambi, enna romba kayam??
apdi ya adichuttan Viswa??" Megs and maniac are shocked
and maniac tries to cover up. Athai acts as if she believes that
and wants to know if maniac is going to drop Megs. Maniac
answers in affirmative and athai tags along - " me too going
there to discuss about the function... if i am there, all will be
done properly..with out me these characters might mess up.."
Well, Maniac is happy about this add on - Well, they go home,
the clan frets and athai bursts the bubble - Tilaga jumps and
the "Viswa - police station - beating ass.president... episode"
is narrated. Tilaga shouts at Megs for getting " Anbu thambi"
manhandled by Viswa. Goes on to say that when they were all
crying for maniac's death Lachu and Co rejoiced " avanukku
athu nalla punishment nnu sonna kudumbam di athu.." This
is another info for maniac. Athai wants to be dropped home -
"QBS pappa function pathi pesa vanthen.... milieu is not good..."
Athai and maniac leave after maniac apologizes for letting the
cat out of the bag.

Athai wants to have a tete e tete with maniac - athai says that
Megs' horoscope is " mosamaana kedu ketta jathagam " goes on
to say about yen thambi Kalai running away after Megs landed...
Viswa suffering because of loving Megs etc., etc, Finally says that
though her horoscope is bad, Megs is unadulterated gold -
"later after u marry her, u may loose heavily in your business and
may end up in nadu theru..if some thing like that happens, u should
not hate her, athaan unga kitte ellam sollitten.." ( athai is maha smart
but it is just that she has met her match in maniac 😳)Maniac says that
his horoscope is worse than Megs' - " in fact only after seeing Megs
I had some luck ..so two negatives may makea positive.." Athai
is crest fallen "sariyaana kalluli mangan !!!" - asks to be dropped
home.

Dhanda comes home - date for the engagement is fixed by the josiyar.
Danda says that he wants to celebrate Sara's wedding nicely - Amutha
says that they are poor and cant afford such extravagance. Danda says
that for him Sara and moron are the same - "Sara's wedding is the last
for this generation...apram Tams' son thaan.." Amutha is overwhelmed
by their kindness and cries - " I lost my hubby and came to you ...
you have taken care of us nicely... and now this...I will die in peace.."
Athai is dropped at Sundaram's place - maniac is invited inside by
Sezhi and gets introduced to all at home. Maniac's connections are discussed
and athai comes to know that he is very well connected - "oh ivan ivlo
periya aalaa?? ivanai vaichu neriya sathikkalamO?'

Episode 565 Friday 27/8/09

Starts with Sundaram telling Sezhi that maniac is a real
bigwig. "u seem to have caught the golden goose, make
sure that u always have it...namba business kku romba
useful aa irukkum.." Athai and Sezhi are thoughtful.

Maniac comes home and Samy frets - maniac gives a detailed
account of getting beaten by Viswa. Samy has a very sane question -
"yuirai panayam vaichu ipdi oru love thevaiyaa?? apdi enna Megs
ulaga maha azhagi??" (Yovvv Samy unnale kannale kathakali aada
mudiyuma?? RKO poda mudiyumaa?? ennavO pesare??)
Maniac as usual does not listen to reasoning but goes on to
lament " I am only upset about one thing. I took the
money, ran to bail out Viswa and he beats me. But Megs asks me
to hide it from her family..for her Viswa means the most !!!" Samy
says that for whatever he does for Megs , she will just respect him
and appreciate.."but Viswa apdi illai. Megs Viswa kooda thaan thanakuu
vazhvu apdinnu uruthiya irukkanga..unakku thaan puriyalai.." But
maniac says that he will make Megs love him -"exactly like how she
loves Viswa.." Leaves the place and Samy says " nee thirunthave
maatte.."

Athai and Sezhi - discussing about the cost of living. Sundaram comes
and asks Muzhi to do a few things at the office -" I am going for a meeting
and then will come to the office..." as an after thought tells Sezhi that he
better keep in touch with maniac -" antha Star Company are big people and
they sub contract their jobs... if we get some , it will be good for us.." After
he leaves, athai starts her Geethoupadesam - " why should get those contracts
and give them to Sundaram??? You start a new company and execute them
separately...how long do u plan to play slave to your FIL??" Sezhi says that
athai is in the league of Sanakya and athai says that she has just started her
stints "poga poga paaru.."

Sara comes to meet his friend Sundar - who is the play boy kind. Sundar
gets a call from one of his " one night stands" - Sara wants her number
but Sundar refuses to divulge -" I have always been like this and I will
never marry but u are a good fellow !!! Unakku marriage vera settled....no way"
Sara stealthily steals the no and calls the woman. " Unga kitte konjam
pesanum..." She says that he is most welcome "bring money and come,
u can chat as long as u want.." ( looks like Sara resorts to the age old technique
- intha payyan character is not ok, namba Jhansi kku ivan vendam..." uh huh )
The tea shop owner Ganesan and Tyson Kalai are cleaning Balu's house.
Athai and Sezhi are coming. Kalai is washing the terrace and all the water.
falls on athai and sezhi - athai screams and looks up...
