Gyaniji declares in front of the family that Kulwant as to why didn't he accept Geet as his wife but Kulwant has no answer. Gyaniji asks him to swear by the Golden Temple to accept Geet but he refuses to do so. Gyaniji is shattered. Geet walks upto her room & collects her stuff to leave the house. Buaji spots Geet leaving the house & calls out for the family. Gyaniji urges Geet not to leave the house & Geet is hoping that Kulwant will stop her but he doesn't. Gyaniji declares in front of the entire family before day break Kulwant will have to accept Geet as his wife or leave this house. Kulwant is shocked.
