What was so unfair? I'm just not understanding you guys
Vijay's team did have one less person, but there have been many tasks in the past where one team had more members than another and such teams have also won, so what is so different now? Having one less ember is just an excuse and they had 2 hours to do the tasks,so they should have planed accordingly. Guys remember the task when Karishma was the captain? she had one more member than Pratibh and Neha's team, but PN's team still won the task.

And, Karishma has lost a few team tasks already and she has also gone in the akhri-dav, so what is this favouritism business? Only because your favourite didn't win that does not mean there was anything worng in the game!
Oh and if you wanted to know, I am surely rooting for Karishma or Nikita. I'll always support a fellow Mumbaikar or an NRI, two groups in which I proudly belong.

Finally, the task for the khichdi was to amke 5 plates and making one less plate is not completing the task. So, it was kind of obvious that the team that completed the task should surely win.

P.S. Sorry if I sounded rude to the anti-Karishmaians but I really thought I should say something about this group. Give her a break! Why the jealousy? You may not like ther, but judges have never really been too much bias for her.

I was thinking the same thing that during that group task karishma's team did have more members, yet the other team won because they were better. So just having one less member should not affect your task, you can still win. Not completing a task is a big reason to not win. In the US food network channel also in competitions completing a task is the first requirement.

Red team didn't complete thier task so they didnt deserve to win even if they had better taste.

The first objective is to complete the task properly and after that judges decide on the basis of taste.

I agree with you

I completely agree with you, I've been a silent member of this forum. I wonder why all these talks about favorism and all. Had it been vijay's team won then some people would have said favorism was shown towards ashish and Bhakti and that channel want to eliminate Nikita. Now that Nikita's team has won people are still complaining.

Seriously i'm also fed up of this favouritism rants ! Like judges have nothing else to do then to be biased towards their "favourite" contestant. They are professional and experienced chefs obviously they'll know better how to judge.

i feel they were fair cause judges have been repeating one fact in every episode that unless the dish is served on the plate it will not be tasted irrespective of how perfect the dish might be.. bhakti had one plate down so technically it shouldnt have gone for tasting itself but they still did taste so giving it to nikita's team was a complete fair decision..
as for one member less, the first group task, karishma had one member more compared to neha's but still neha's team won.. so having one member down is no excuse. you need to plan accordingly

I am just happy as this must be the first time that MCI has shown that a team/person was not able to complete the task on time..
3 dishes and 3 in the team.. And that team did divide the work as 3 dishes with 1 per person .. and 2 hours to complete.. That is more than when given usual individual tasks plus I really didn't think that achari khichdi dish needed so much time unless she had some trouble that we were not shown..

I see a lot of people who believe that this weeks judgement wasn't unfair.

First things first, we are comparing previous episodes, but then it's usually the flavour e azams team that has an extra member. This week that was clearly not the case.

The flavour e Azam has every right to have an upper hand, but this week the fight was for flavour e azam.

If there is no food on the table, however awesome the taste might have been, customers will walk away from the restaurant. So my POV, judges were so right in giving it to Nikita's time.

I am not sure what the point of having uneven teams was??

The Red Team should have had a helper..either someone from the Masterchef studio or a past contestant

If the teams were even, and one plate was missing, then yes I would support dinging them / taking away points

Seriously, who is directing and scripting this years MC? Fire them and revamp the show
