The reason shes decided to leave him now is as she said in todays episode, Aditya has taken her back to the phase of her life when she was really down, he saved her when she just needed anyone, he held her hand, he taught her to love and laugh. And when she really needed him he wasnt there for her. After being molested by Brahma again she realised it. And also if he hadnt got there on time to see it himself and Brahma had killed her then,Brahma would have fobbed Aditya off with another tale and Aditya would have believed him and would have thought the worst of her again.

agree wid U fizk...priya is right in leaving Aditya... each & every word she said was ture... & anyways Aditya badly needs to matue!!!

I felt the same way when I initially found out she was going to leave him. I figured that was the story that would move toward given the 6 month extension.

But I thought about it later, and her dialogues said whey she's leaving NOW. It had to do with Brahma attacking her. If that kidnap hadn't happened, Aditya would've divorced her, and she would've accepted it. There were times she did get frustrated with his lack of belief in her, but above all else, she was fighting for and with her MIL, so she kept that as her focus, nothing else.

However, now the fight is over. Now she can focus on herself. ANd she's realized that she DOES love Adi, and he DOES love her, but he could not protect her when he needed to. He could not trust her when he needed to. The slap, the anger, the bitterness, it was all nothing compared to being found in that humiliating position by your MIL and husband during, yet another, attempted rape. Had Adi believed her, had he trusted her, she may not have been in that position to begin with. And it took a kidnap, an almost rape and an almost death for Adi to believe her .. .well then such a relationship isn't worth it, is it?

If none of that had happened, she may not have walked out. You're right there. But that's not because he was running away from her and she was busy trying to pacify him. It would be because she hadn't come to the realization that he could never protect or trust her as much as she wanted or deserved to be, inorder for the relationship to flourish. The kidnap and subsequent events acted as catalysts for her to realize she was in a relationship with a child - he loved, yeah, but didn't know how to be mature about it.

BTW, she does say she's leaving forever. Not to teach him a lesson.

Hope that helped

I totally get Priya leaving Adi! It wasn't just the slap. You have to remember how fragile Priya was when the show initially started. She was depressed to the point of trying to commit suicide. What Bramha had done to her was more than molestation or attempted rape. B didn't just molest her in the privacy of the train, he RAPED her (metaphorically) in public by getting her arrested as a prostitute. Imagine what that kind of scandal can do to a young girl in a small town in India! I start shivering when I put myself in her shoes!!! Try to understand how huge this is for Priya. This episode was the biggest nightmare of her life.

And now consider this – what that woman must have gone thru when the man who promised to love and protect her stood in front of his family and called her a liar regarding that same nightmare! How she must have died a thousand deaths when B again called her a prostitute in court and that husband of hers still sided with his dad!!!!! One CANNOT get past such foundational betrayals!

At the end when Priya pointed out how if he hadn't seen his dad force himself on her with his own eyes, B would have raped and killed her that day and Adi wouldn't even have mourned over her dead body, that was it for me… Kudos to the writers for writing such impactful, meaningful dialogues! No further explanations were necessary after that dialogue.

I want Priya to become independent and happy. I want Adi to grow up and become his mother's support. And honestly speaking, even if the show now ends without reuniting Adiya, I will say – no complains!

Tfs. Saw it on SBB and that actually made me start re-watching it.
Actually I was so put off with Aditya's behaviour that I preferred not to watch it. But with this new twist it seems the show is getting a new lease of life. Will become worth watching again I guess.
