One month left. It feels really strange, now that I've been watching Maryada for a little less than a year 😔 It will definitely not be a happy farewell, I'm going to miss watching this show a lot. I don't think there will ever be another show like Maryada - a show that was bold enough to showcase the harsh realities of life and managed to do so beautifully. There were so many things that could have gone fatally wrong and the show would have fallen flat on it's face, but the CV's knew when to be sensitive and when to be in-your-face about something. Yes, there were times when a lot of us got very annoyed with the way things were going but it always managed to jump back in time 😊

So how do you think the CV's are going to go about tying all loose ends in a month? Any predictions?

Maryada was the third show I followed regularly and all three ended abruptly :(

I want a justified ending..

I don't think they're going to show Devyani divorcing SSP. And all the truths are definitely going to end up coming out, but meh. I don't think a month wil be enough time to do justice for an ending.

I guess I should happy it's not a week like for many other shows, a month is at lest 20 more episodes so they should be able to wrap things up decently.

But like everyone is saying, this is the one show I've watched without fail, such powerful actors and actresses, and they all did justice to their roles, making us hate them, love them, and just so much more. I'm definitely going to be very depressed during the last week of the show.

i hope they just get vidya and gaurav divorced and show vidya going to school, gaurav and karan living together, dev divorcing ssp, send ssp to jail, kick uttara out of the house because what she did is unforgivable...

I just hope they don't drag things until 1 week before it's supposed to end and then rush through everything in the last 3-4 episodes (I've sadly seen this happen in many shows I used to watch).

I hope Devyani does divorce SSP, Vidya looks like will get educated and independent (yayy!). Uttara and Aditya are in for a big shock soon. SSP should just rot in hell for the rest of his life.

Hmmm...I think Devyani will get a divorce. I would love to see the show ending with Brahma left abandoned by the whole family. I also do not want to see Devyani forgive Uttara.

I really hope this is what happens, and I really hope Uttara is left alone as well. Both SSP and Uttara deserve to be abandoned and alone in life. Ugh, can't stand either of them.

I hope the serial does not continue to show Adi suspicious of his mum as it will be time wasted but to show how a well brought up son who is in politics comes to understand his respectable mum who stays within her Maryadan no matter what. He should also (with Gauravs help) know his womanising and goose taking fathers many faces.

3. Priya deserves an apology from Brahma in front of Adi with truth coming up in whatever context the CV's think will bring it justice

4. Uttara needs to be told firstly by her daughter about her gullibility and her daring to take her sisters husband. Brahma needs to tell her that she was just being used by him as he has used so many others before her.

5. Vidya's future should be mapped out

I wish though that the culmination of this would be in such a way that the 4 women come together and understand the trials and tribulations that they had to endure because of one man and a woman who did not wish to step out of her maryada and false facade for society's sake.

It should wrap up how a family gathers itself when all truths are revealed and how they face up to each other and how they decide to learn from this and to move on to a better life after learning form these happenings in their lives.

Sorry for carrying on about this but this is the only show which has captured my interest out of all Hindi shows since it covers a universal issue and incidences that happen sometime or other in every family all over the world. Each one of us may sometime in our lives be faced by one of this prolems and if this one serial can potray a bit of the true reactions and solutions, then it will no doupt in some small way help the viewers. Who knows, other creatives may take this a step further in other serials to come.
