I am new to the maryada forum and after catching up with the serial this far, I have to say it is a real gripping serial. It really gives equal importance to all relationships and characters in the show.
I just feel that's it seems like everyone in the family knows about Bhramanand's real side (his wife, gaurav, his father, priya, now vidya). Uttara sort of know about it two but is so overwhelmed emotionally that she can't see the evilness of Bhramanand yet.
So if we look at just the adults in the family, the only one who doesn't know about him is Aditya. So basically everyone is shielding Bhramanand just for Aditya now.
I think they have really developed the relationship between the father and son to show how stong the bond is between them and really in this case Aditya gives his father the highest most place in his life. You can't blame him as everyone else has shielded him for his father's way. Even at times when his father's true colours came out (like when he was against the marriage of Aditya and Priya, when he had a hand in killing the couple who Aditya was trying to protect, when he now shot Vidya). The CVs have created enough scenarios for Aditya to see his father's true colours but each time his father gets away with it and other people like Indrani support the lie cooked up by the father to make it seem real.
So far the way they have shown the relationship of Aditya and his father, it is only fair that he won't want to believe that his father is capable of doing anything wrong. If a child is in awe of their parent and revers them to the point of treating them as their God, they will believe anything that will reassure them that what they believed this far was true. And that's the case with Aditya- and I like that the CVs have emphasized on it. No third person, regardless if its Aditya's wife, mom or brother, can point a finger at his father for him to believe it.
The CVs have to create a scenario that allows for Aditya to see with his own eyes his father's true colours. A really good confrontation scene has to be done between Aditya and Bhramanand for Aditya to really believe that his father is that evil. And I think that its about time. Aditya is old enough and has been shown to be smart enough to be in such a situation now. A lot has happened this far that has sown the seed of doubt towards the character of his father this far, the pushing point would be his own confrontation to this nasty side.
I think Vidya being shot is the last straw that anyone in the house should take to protect this man. It is high time they stand up to him. I really hope the CVs handle it well like they have handled the serial so well this far.
I also hope that Aditya is not shown to go back into his past in the form of Pooja as most people have been speculating as it will bring his character so much closer to his father. And we all know that he is nothing like him.
I am glad I started watching this serial. Really action packed and well scripted. I hope we get to see more strong episodes where the CVs move forward in exposing Bhramanand fully. I mean there is so much potential for this serial after he is exposed (if they are worried that the thing holding the storyline together is him not being exposed). Because after he is exposed it would be very interesting to see Aditya's reaction to it and how Bhramanand retaliates to the family crossing their maryada. We have already seen that like his love knows no bounds for his family at times, so does his anger and hatred.
I just want Aditya to find out soon..that will be the turning point in the serial.. and its high time. I don't want anymore people to be harmed by him.
